I spotted two parakeets this morning, 11.30, in Graves Park.

We have identified ours as the harlequin variety. These are killing our native ones.

If ever i am unfortunate to find myself in court I want this judge.

I can't understand that the judge has more or less stated that he is guilty of culpable homicide ( should be a lengthy sentence...mmmmm) and allows him to go home. She dosn't remind him of his bail conditions or change his bail conditions. Surely he should have been locked up to await his sentence. I think he will turn up but if it were me I think I would have legged it.

We called Christmas decorations ' wesling balls' and kaily was sherbert.

This road needs some sort of crossing. Vehicles think they are driving in the Grand Prix when coming off the roundabout near Meadowhead. Motorbikes are doing wheelies and lorries suck you in. For goodness sake raise the speed limit I don't care but I don't want killing on the damn thing. There was a subway once but that gate is locked and the embankment too steep to climb. Even though there are two pedestrian signs it seems saving a few seconds is more important than having an accident. Rant over.

Hi Cyb1, It is my friend that spotted the 2 dogs first and reported them lost. She then met the warden chap and he knew about them missing. We will be going down about 9am, I know where the feed station is as this was where they were both found. I have got your no. if we see anything. We will ask at the farm too, the people there are lovely. Ben did play with my friends dog although he was timid. As you say, it's just catching him. At least if he is eating he should have a bit of energy. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Where is the feed station. My friend and I was down this morning and put some food out. We have had no sighting of him at the top end of the woods near Jordanthorpe by pass and we walk round past the farm. We continually scan the area and listen.

When were they found. Just wondering if the 4 I've reported are stil in the woods. Can't help but think about them especially in this weather

4 dogs were seen this morning in Jordanthorpe woods. Reported to Sheffield dog Wardens. 2 sound similar to yours. They look very thin and cautious. Food has been left as they won't be caught.

You are right, it was a very poor turn out. We were given tickets by someone because of the poor sales. I think people left during Bolans performance as he was there in body and nothing else. We still had a great time as we were sixteen.

I wonder if there is a check list of questions to ask dealers. We purchased a Samsung TV which went wrong. We just had to pack the tv in its box, was told a pick up date, it was tested and then replaced at another specified time. Aftercare is most important.

It is the responsibility of the person that sold it to you. If a part has broken the seller sends it back to the manufacturer and gets a replacement part. You should not be paying call out charge or for parts unless you broke it by negligence i.e getting a belt stuck in it. The warranty is with the seller and you should only deal with the seller. When the warranty expires you can go to any other stairlift company which are a lot cheaper than Clarks.

If the breakdown is the fault of the lift it should be covered. However, if you have trapped something in it or have not charged the batteries it is your responsibility. Many people turn the power off which will not charge the batteries. The company I use understand this and have not charged me in the past until I understood the mechanics.

Mmmmmm ......why lie? He states that he has no health issues. This is the sheer genius of cancer, it lurks silently beavering away and then it gets you. Four members of my family have said when it's my time it's my time but nothing prepares you for the devasting words....

Smoking took both my parents and my father in law and we are at this moment caring for my mother in law with lung cancer. It's not easy for us to see the people we love die and it is a horrible painful death. As said before, all stopped smoking when they were told they couldn't be helped. I am very surprised to see that 90% of lung cancer patients are smokers. Also, that pre 1930 lung cancer was quite rare due to only the rich being able to afford them.

Is there a document that show all this country's benefit payments and how many claims there are. Also what nationalities claim them and the percentage. Im interested because I've just heard they are changing the single parent claim and was trying to work out the logic. Also my interest in the nationalities is mainly the European percentage.

There seems to be a battle on our back garden for the loudest wind chimes. We live back to back with small gardens and the most recent purchase our neighbour has bought is a wind chime that is louder than the church bells. It really is loud but marginally better than the wooden variety that just thuds. There are several on the backs and all play at different times. I'm not moaning as people love them but could I politely ask that it would be thoughtful if they were secured in the night time. If your chime is missing please remove it from my bin because they are ruddy annoying.
