You could try L J Timber on Clay Wheels Lane at Hillsborough. They have loads of logs and wood chip. They don't charge either, you can have as much as you like. Only problem is they don't deliver you have to go fetch it yourself.

I would have to agree with medusa. Took my daughter to Chester Zoo last year and she absolutely loved it.

Have you been for a look round the nursery yet. When my daughter first started they let her play with the other kids for half an hour while I looked round and had a cuppa.

My daughter used to go there about 2yrs ago. Found it really good my little un loved it.

There is a restaurant in Gleadless called Tequilas that let kids in. I think on certain days they have offers where you get 2 meals for the price of one on kids food too.

Does anyone know what was going off at Myrtle Springs School this morning. I had turned onto East Bank Road from Manor Top and just before the school there was a traffic cop car diverting traffic down Dagnam Road. I could see there was an ambulance and a few more police cars outside the school gates. Hope no one was hurt too bad.

when i was pregnant my daughter (5yrs) was going to be called India but when she was born we changed the name to Ocean. At first some ppl thought it was a bit strange but now everyone thinks its lovely and suits her cos she is one of a kind.

what time was this because there was a riot van van and couple of cars on charnock hall road at 2.45pm. no sirens - just sat there as if waiting for someone or something.
