I have had countless noisy neighbours, one who played music at least 10 hours a day, usually between the hours of 8pm and 6am - so loud it vibrated my furniture and it made me very unwell. Only after persistent reporting and complaining, 5 months later, did it suddenly cease. My guess is the offending neighbour got threatened with the eviction process as the next course of action. My point is, it may take a long time to see results from the day you complain, so act now. Complain via the Sheffield Council website, and contact the Uni. Keep a diary, report every party that is too loud or at unsociable hours, if you feel it affects your daily living. I really hope they quiet down soon, some people can be so selfish and ignorant to other peoples lives and well being, it wont stop unless they are told to by an authority. I'm needing some business cards printing on Friday/Saturday so unable to order them online unless I pay an extortionate amount, does anyone know anywhere in Sheffield that does a one day/same day service? I would only need a small order. Sorry if it's the wrong place to post this

Steel City cakes on Abbeydale road if you want to taste the best cake in your entire life. They have about 10 different cakes to choose from, the coffee and walnut cake is to die for, and you get huge slices for £2.50!! And next door to them is a vegan cafe called "BurgerLolz", great for if you want to go somewhere a bit more casual. They do very tasty vegan hot dogs, burgers (in case that wasn't obvious!) and magnificent "freak shakes".

I am being evicted and put into temporary housing from August 1st. I have 3 cats who will most likely not be able to come with me until I find a permanent residence. Is there any fostering schemes? The Cat shelter in Sheffield only permanently re-home cats. Please let me know if there are any options. Giving them up is absolutely out of the question.

There is matinence work being done on the masts in the area to improve oranges and EEs 3g and 4g speeds, loss of signal is temporary, however once the work is done the service will be much better

I got bit on my foot about 3 weeks ago, it swelled up to the size of a golf ball and was bruised all round it, it literally went from red to purple to yellow to brown its still slightly bruised and raised and the actual bite mark is still scabby and it itches like HELL. I've never had a reaction like this to an insect, god knows what it was
