  2. Hi I am going to be passing my laptop onto a friend as im getting a new one. I will be deleting everything I had on it and installing him windows 7, which I currently also have on it. I also have the windows 7 bios firmare update. is this permanent or will it need reinstalling? I ask because i think bios firmware is seperate from the OS.
  3. I am looking for big companies, Im sure someone on here would be able to help. An example I read that Apple has overtaken Microsoft in Market Value. Without already knowing this information how would I obtain it. Is there not a way to check what company price closes at? I may be off here but I nosdaq/ftse do these have anything to do with it?
  4. Microsoft, Yahoo, Nike, Apple, Samsung, Sony and so on.... which website can I check this on please.
  5. Hi I have finally found the software application I have been looking for. I just want your advice on its safety. I have a few email accounts, yahoo, gmail, hotmail, live and although most of them dont need checking even every week. I fear I will forget to log in for over a month and that my email account will be erased. I was on the microsoft website when I cam across Windows Live Mail, I have downloaded it and I can open up multiple email accounts on the same page, Im sure most of you may use this or something similar but I really love this application. My concerns if you could help me with are: It surely has to be less safer for me to use such an application as I not only have one email account open, I will have multiple accounts open. The software does offer to remember the email and password, how safe is this? and would you advice manually logging in each time or automatically i.e let live mail remember my log in details. My final concern which I have to thank "jackgregory" of this particular forum is, I learned today if you are logging into a Hotmail account via there website you have to manually click secure log in otherwise the safety lock is not in the address bar. Regarding this I wonder if when I am logging into such applications like messenger or live mail are they secure? And if not how would I go about getting the same security when I log into a hotmail account through there website. I apologize for the post being all over the place, and thank you in advance for any help.
  6. title does say it all however here is a link just to prove im sane. http://www.hotmail.com usually when im logging into other email accounts, or other sites with valuable information I see the lock in the address bar.
