Hi, I'm looking for adult beginner piano lessons in S7-S8 area preferably on a Saturday morning. I'm a complete beginner and have always wanted to learn. Looking for a female teacher who can hopefully progress me through basic exams. I am good at trying to teach myself but feel that I need a teacher to ensure I do it properly. If you are able to help or refer me to someone who can, I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Deb -

Anyone know where I can get broad reeded glass?
dmt13 posted a topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I'm posting this in the classifieds as well but am posting it here as well as getting increasingly nowhere.... We have a front door with what we think is Pilkington's broad reeded glass in it which has broken when bringing furniture out - turns out it is a discontinued glass but we would like to replace it if at all possible. Does anyone on the forum know where we might be able to get some? Have tried all the usual glass suppliers. Thanks in advance. -
I think +5 might be a bit optimistic http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/7days.asp?zipcode=s7 but here's hoping!

this reminds me of something that happened in Bridlington or Scarborough a few years ago. My daughter who was about 8 at the time found a ten pound note. Thinking that no-one would claim it, I said that she could keep five pounds of it as long as she put five pounds in the Lifeboat collection box. If it was more or something identifiable I would always hand it in - I believe in karma and wouldn't be able to keep it on my conscience without thinking there would be some retribution.

I think this may be copyright but here goes - I was looking at the web cams and saw this one of Ridgeway Road and it looks just like a Lowry painting to me! I think I'll try and paint it... http://s1092.photobucket.com/albums/i418/indianbean/ -

Only in Sheffield.. a bus gate without buses

It might because of the 2,000+ people who work at the Home Office and Irwin Mitchell on Riverside -
I spend about £150 a week in Tesco Abbeydale - family shopping - equates to £7800 a year. Went in at weekend and I had to squint to see - lights way too bright - I suffer from photo-sensitivity which causes migraines - I can't shop there any more - I'm going to have to change to Morrisons Norton where the lighting is more acceptable, although their range isn't as wide. My husband counted the tubes in each light - I think there are 10 tubes in each set - Why?
