if they think you are able to find a home other than the council they dont nessacary have to give you a prority, my friend went to howden house with a quit notice etc as her landlord did the same, and she was told by the council after 30 odd days of waiting she isnt vunerable enough for a priority basically she is able to find somewhere herself without a priority,. i.e housing assocc and private rents. to me if your homeless your homeless council housing is more safer than private landlord as council will only evict you if its ur fault or demolition, private landlords can sell up next week.

i do sympathise with ya as i only have a gas fire no central heating and i agree it is freezing upstairs, emergency should have brought ya a loan heater at least, our estate is in the process of stock transfer and council wont put central heating in so looks like another 2 yrs minmum of just a gas fire for us.

i think its a great idea, even if you are selling ur property and then buying another one you will still have to do one in the end,its only benefits first time buyer i think. one good thing they have come up with, if you have got nothing to hid then there should be a problem telling the propective buyer whats wrong, honesty is the best policy

u have only lost £50 on saxo if u take astra, the other £1950 u could use to do astra up as and when u wanted to body kit lights alloys etc...
