  1. BBC Radio Sheffield did a piece of cannabis oil and cancer treatment. If you're interested follow the link below and go to 208 minutes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p036j08h Found it very interesting. The man who claimed to be cured! I read about him before and he's an active campaigner in recognition of the medicinal values. Also that Cancer Research are undertaking research using real cannabis plant extracts xx
  2. Please could you provide me with your source? And for those that look a little bit deeper, there is international (America and Australia) research looking into cannabis oil use in treatment of cancer..
  3. I am not saying they have not used cannabis in other treatments, such as Sativex for epilepsy and Nabilone, which is a man made treating severe sickness from chemotherapy....... However, for treatment of cancer the pharmasutic companies want to develop synthetic, man made clones and that is why they Re using in the two studies discussed by cancer research!
  4. I have communicated with Cancer Research direct and I am right. Feel free to make contact yourself. I found posting on the Facebook page achieves a prompt reply!
  5. They are looking into synthetic cannabinoids, which is basically man made clones of the really cannabinoids from cannabis. They will not use the real thing as it has no monatary value, as anyone can grow and produce medicine themselves using real cannabis. Your posts appear to lack a wider picture of the issue. Cancer Research only commissions research when companies approach them with ideas.. They are a con! Why on earth would a pharmaceutical company want to commission any research into the use of real cannabis, they can not make anything from it!
  6. You're ignorant! Don't you get that for some people this really is a matter of life and death. If you have cancer and you're told there is no further prescribed treatment to treat you, you will try anything to save your life and spare your loved ones the hurt and pain of a death. If some people around the world claim it helped them, whether with the physical pain cancer brings or with actually have some positive effect on the cancer why should they not try this? You should take a step back and think about what you would do if you were told you're dying and there is no further medical treatment available.. I am sure you would want to spare yourself and also your loved ones!
  7. General information about cannabis haha.. Silly! As the legality around the world changes it opens doors for research.. I think you will find it's completely relevant!
  8. As I said; maybe not for you, but for those that are looking into the subject and need wider information, it adds a lot. I came across this thread as I was looking into wider issues and I hope my posts will help others like posts by others (with wisdom and common sense) did me
  9. I am sure I have said this to you before; maybe there is no relation for you, but for those that do need cannabis, or to cultivate it for medicinal reasons; it has a lot to do with it
  10. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3177990/Top-officer-says-police-force-giving-cannabis-Chief-says-cracking-dope-never-priority.html Looks like cannabis use/cultivation will become low priority for all Police forces.
  11. I don't recall saying to do any random search. I said to search the news and there you will see the news articles from across America, Australia and Cannada about the effectiveness of cannabis oil in treatment of cancer, epilepsy etc from the people who are already using it. However, if you wish to do a general search for meaningless things, that's entirely upto you.
  12. Maybe for you, as more than likely you're not in a situation were you need to try it. I stress the word need, as for some it is life or death! Clinical trials of no clinical trial, for some it is the last option and for some (of those people) it has proved itself to be a lifesaver, whether for cancer, epilepsy or many other conditions. You take in what you read and sadly, in the main, we only read what we are fed! Open your eyes to what's going on around the world, not just in the rags on sale in your local news agents! Google "cannabis oil cancer" or "cannabis oil epilepsy" and then click "news" and there you will see the overwhelming evidence. At that point come back and talk to me about clinical trials!
  13. Open your eyes to the overwhelming research out there.. Cannabis was illegal around the world, but the tide is turning in other counties opening it up for research to be undertaken.. Below is a link to a BBC news article which discusses CURRENT cannabinoid use in treating cancer, including current research and several people who took the treatment, including their outcomes. Interesting isn't it.. Soon it will be a pet of your treatment and if you know anyone who has cancer before them, you must spread the word!
  14. Looks like Australia will lead in the trials; http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2015-07-27/nation-first-cannabis-study-announced-at-newcastle-hospital/6650832 ---------- Post added 30-07-2015 at 00:02 ---------- Weird isn't it.. Also the NHS also prescribe Nabilone, which is a man made drug developed from cannabis (marijuana). It is licensed for treating severe sickness from chemotherapy that is not controlled by other anti sickness drugs. It works very well for some people, but can cause drowsiness or dizziness in others. This can last for a couple of days after you've stopped taking it. http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/coping-with-cancer/coping-physically/sickness/treatment/types-of-anti-sickness-drugs Remember though people, cannabis is a schedule 1 drug, with NO clinical value!
  15. Better to he illegally alive than legally dead tho. Huh!
  16. Maybe not for you, clever clogs. But for those who need to purchase/cultivate for medicine, it has quite a lot to do with the matter. That ok with you?
  17. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11767001/Three-more-police-forces-signal-that-they-will-turn-blind-eye-to-cannabis-use.html
  18. You may do! And I fit into the category of having personal experience of use, which produced extremely positive results. Agree to disagree huh.. However, I presume if you have cancer and are informed medical treatment available is no longer effective, you would be the same as me! Better to be illegally alive than legally dead! Good day!
  19. Research is ongoing; but for some there is enough antidotal evidence to date, however, for others they would like to wait for definitive proof from pharmaceutical/research companies who fill their pockets with your money, whilst attempting to make synthetic medication when there is a natural plant ready for use. It's about money and how they can make money from YOU. Now I presume you fit into the latter category, whereas I fit into the first. Good day! ---------- Post added 27-07-2015 at 13:11 ---------- Below is a link to a BBC news article which discusses cannabinoid use in treating cancer, including current research and several people who took the treatment, including their outcomes. Below is another link to a BBC news article which explores the development of cannabinoid use in current medicine. 21. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3169435/Police-s-latest-potty-idea-no-longer-prosecute-smoke-grow-cannabis-small-scale-reduce-costs.html Change is coming people.. Get ready.. Sadly for some it will be too late! The international evidence on effectiveness in treatment of ailments will soon become known.
  22. Some articles I found especially interesting about the use of cannabinoids to treat cancer. Below is a link to a BBC news article which discusses cannabinoid use in treating cancer, including current research and several people who took the treatment, including their outcomes. Below is another link to a BBC news article which explores the development of cannabinoid use in current medicine. 'But at the moment there isn't good evidence from clinical trials to prove that they can safely and effectively treat cancer in patients. 'Despite this, some cancer patients do choose to treat themselves with cannabis extracts. 'Researchers are collecting patients' experiences to build a picture of whether these treatments are helping or not, although this is weak evidence compared to properly-run clinical trials. 'Cancer Research UK is supporting clinical trials for treating cancer with cannabinoid-based drugs in order to gather solid data on whether they benefit people with cancer.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-3043607/Cannabis-oil-cured-bowel-cancer-claims-father-33-given-just-The 18-months-live.html
  23. I seriously question the integrity of the Pakistani Advice Centre (PAC) and the work they are undertaking with the community of Page Hall/First Park. The organisation are money grabbing at every opportunity and those on the management board have their own best interests at heart rather than those of the community, whether that be the Roma, Pakistani or any other race residing in the area. The building should be taken off them and provided to those who genuinely want to work with the community and support integration and cohesion. There are clearly concerns in the area, however, no individual or organisation is taking responsibility for this. There should be a coordinated approach and an action plan established in order to achieve integration and cohesion.
  24. Does anyone know what happened here as a Police car is still Parked outside the house.
  25. I was driving over the killamarsh bridge when the armed police were leading someone out of a field.....
