From Sheffield, Illinois by way of Nashville Tennessee USA, the alt-country pioneer makes a welcome return to Sheffield for a live summer-time show.
One of his stage suits hangs in Nashville's Country Music Hall Of Fame and with Jason and the Scorchers he founded and led one of the most incendiary bands of any music genre anytime anywhere. He's recently celebrated thirty years in the music business with a career-spanning compilation album entitled Best Tracks and Side Tracks.
And... for a special and intimate live concert, Jason Ringenberg plays at The University Arms in Sheffield on July 24th 2009 with special guests - outstanding UK folk-roots band Something Nasty in the Woodshed.
