  2. mr chris. thanks for that. i have been looking at sony bdp550 as this has been getting god write ups as my amp is sony and my new tv will eventually be sony as well. depends if i sell my ps3!!!
  3. Thanks Ghozer. I thought as much about the truhd. know anyone who wants to buy a ps3?!?!?!
  4. Thanks for the reply so quickly!! By outputting true HD sound (don't think I mentioned before) you get sound as per the cinema, but the player must have this in its features. I appreciate what everyone says about the ps3. Do you know if the ps3 outputs trueHD sound, picture I know.
  5. Hello Sheffield!!! I am after some advice... I have a PS3 currently and am potentially looking to sell it to purchase a Blu-ray player. Is this wise? Or is it better to have a dedicated blu-ray player? My amp outputs trueHD and I am not sure a ps3 does or if it does it is in linear pcm format. Help me!!!
  6. Hello everyone. I need the names and numbers of 3 good plumbers please!! Thank you
  7. Hi. I would suggest that you will still get a bargain and that house may drop a little more over the next 2 to 3 months. Summer is an ideal time to buy as people enjoy the summer and they only really look when the kids go back to school. If you can get some more deposit together (beg, steal and borrow!!) then you get a) somewhere better than you were after b) you will be in better buying position as it will be a buyers market for awhile c) you then open your options up for mortgages lenders and ergo rates. olihiggy
