As above, and i've seen the thread mentioning G-Tech but that appears to be closed. I can supply the part, I just don't want to pay dealership prices to get it replaced and my local garage want £600! The car is an 08 Peugeot 107 and the clutch needs to be replaced. Happy to look at mobile mechanics if it's a job that can be done at home? :S

Sheff registry office - where to park the bridal car?
catieeb06 replied to PinkyCharl's topic in General Discussions
There is a limited amount of parking down the side of the town hall. Might be an idea to try and park it there? -
Hi Guys, Have had a look at the search facility and can't find anything there. My dress doesn't need cleaning but it could do with being pressed before the big day so i'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for that? Thanks, Catie x

I am using Shoot photography in Wickersley, Rotherham. Think it's about £450 for 2 photographers for 6 hours, an album and the disc of all the photo's.

Is it me or is it ironic that most if not all their stores are Lancashire and Greater Manchester? -
I can recommend Karen @ TigaLili flowers. She's doing my wedding flowers and the samples of hers that I have seen are really good. She's reasonably priced as well! http://www.tigaliliflowers.com/

They don't take cards i'm afraid. They do offer finance though. They do take reasonable offers

Fuel thefts - car park on Alma Street
catieeb06 replied to Mogster's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Not far up from there on both Dunn Lane and Dunn Fields there have been a spate of break-in's to cars. Windows smashed, not sure if things have been taken. Just an additional word of warning. -
Exhaust replacement - recommendations?

When I needed to get something replaced on my car on a Sunday the only place I found open was a Kwik Fit. Expensive but it was worth it- fixed within an hour. -

Thinking of moving to Rotherham!!
catieeb06 replied to loopy556's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I've lived in Rotherham most of my life (aside from about 3 years where I lived the student life in Sheffield) I've been blessed to live in Moorgate for all the time i've lived in Rotherham and it's a great area. Not far from the town centre (although there really is nothing there) but also not far from the Parkway and the M1. I agree, you do get a lot more for your money in Rotherham. I'm buying here in the next 12 months as I know I can drive to work in Sheffield. I could get a 3 bedroomed house in a fairly decent area in Rotherham for the same price as a 2 bed house in a shocking area of Sheffield. It's a commuter town purely and simply at the moment now that the mining and steel industry have all but gone. -

I don't have a Toyota- I have an L reg peugeot 306- amazing car, original engine, minor things needed replacing like the windscreen wipers etc. I wish they still made them!
-
Hi Guys, I think I need a replacement motor for my wear windscreen wiper, it only seems to want to work periodically and that only seems to be when it's warm. I can source the part myself, either via ebay motors or a breakers yard, but does anyone know how much it would cost to have it replaced? I have the Haynes Manual but to be honest because I know nothing at all about the internal workings of cars and it appears to involve needing to jack the car up, i'm looking for a mechanic to do it. Thanks!
-
Lol, it's okay!! They probably are but it's my first car so i'm not getting anything more expensive as it only makes the insurance even more expensive than it already is.
-
Yeah, it's all sorted. Had 2 new tyres fitted and the tracking and wheel balance sorted. Turns out the 2 tyres that were replaced were the originals that came with the car, now that doesn't sound interesting until I tell you that the car is a 93' Peugeot 306
