Help, i waant a full time job preferably Assembly/production work, i have been applying for about 20 jobs a week and not getting anywhere, i am 56 yrs old so i can only assume it's that, i would consider most jobs on minimum wage and i am a good reliable worker, but getting really downhearted about this. -
have you decided to have surgery done at jordanthorpe ?
-
thanks for information Allen, i have recently had an x ray of my foot and been told its not fusing as quick as it should so got to keep cast on for further 3 weeks, i'm dissapointed cause i was hoping to get walking in just over a week now i have to wait an extra 3 weeks.
-
Allen, to be walking in 5 weeks is amazing, i have had a cast on for 6 weeks now and it will be 2 more weeks before it comes of and hopefully if x ray is ok i can start putting pressure on it while wearing a shoe which has a sole you pump up with air, at the moment i,m still getting discomfort in my foot so i,m hoping the x ray turns out ok because it,s not easy staying positive ---------- Post added 17-02-2014 at 14:11 ---------- scousemouse, i did,n do much research into my op before i had it done, but apparently if you have general anasthetic there is more chance of blood clots forming afterwards, so i went with local anasthetic , i,m not good with needles so i didn,t enjoy that part but once my leg was numb i was fine during operation ---------- Post added 17-02-2014 at 14:15 ---------- how long did it take you to get used to walking again ?
-
Allen , did you have your toe fused with screws in it ? ---------- Post added 14-02-2014 at 12:13 ---------- scousemouse i am had my op at jordanthorpe , i found the staff were always helpful .
