  1. I was thinking around £350 ideally, so that's a lot closer, cheers!
  2. Yeah that was one option - to strip it all out and sell seperately. Thanks for the advice though guys!
  3. Thinking of selling my PC and getting a laptop but no idea what this lot would be worth - anyone able to help me out? Asus K-series motherboard - Socket 939 with 1Mhz FSB and 7.1 surround sound built in Athlon 64 3700 San Diego core 1GB DDR 400 ram (CL3) BFG Tech GeForce 7900 GToc 256MB nVidia graphics 250GB SATA HD 8x24x48 DVD re-writer White tower case with one transparent side, 2 fans with adjustable speeds and green neon (!) Wireless keyboard and mouse Windows XP Professional included 17" Acer TFT monitor ... equally if anyone's interested, PM me with an offer!!!
  4. Now now, language, this is a family forum You started by talking about CDs and DVDs - music basically and not what I was looking for - got the wrong impression of the software from that and it sounded like a sales pitch. Thought you were just promoting your product, which is why I went off on one.
  5. Cheers for that guys! Well, except for the suggestion about copying a CD track from Kovacs-san ... did you even read the title or were you so desperate to plug your product you just searched for the word mobile on all the forums you could find??? Nostalgia will have to do for now I suppose - thanks Lindsey, didn't even see that on there as an option!!
  6. Seriously need a professional / non-musical ringtone for my Nokia n80. Can't seem to find one, and all the pre-loaded ones are irritating songs! I think my boss is a bit sick of hearing the Cantina Theme from Star Wars by now, and it doesn't look good in meetings!!
  7. just a quick point - how much petrol do you think he would've burned? And cab meters DO run when they're waiting - usually they charge per 1/8 mile or 10 seconds waiting time - read the tarrif sheet next time you're in one!
  8. Not true! Dry enough here to put my washing out, and the porter brook runs along my back garden's wall. It did last night (around 5pm i think) but it only flooded around the edges, mainly in endcliffe park, rather than eccleshall road. There's some pictures posted on the 'flood pictures' thread here >>> http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=230117 <<< by Purdyamos. And very good they are too!
  9. That's my old flat!! OMG! Were your colleagues ok?
  10. is the x78 running from sheffield to doncaster yet?
  11. Judging on the pictures of coode house and riverside exchange being 3ft under water, i'm guessing IM isn't open - have you tried phoning in? They have a London office too - they might know...? Depends how much you want to go to work I suppose
  12. Anyone know if they're running buses to Donny today?
