This is absolutely right. I'm booked on it and it's £70 for the event (if you use their weapons). You need to book quickly as they sell out insanely fast, but they have added a second date and other ones coming (but selling out really fast).

Hey I'm a total supporter of new premises especially ones around the corner. All I was saying is: if someone's going to make a post about a new place, that they just be honest about it. But no one on EARTH signs up to a forum just to post a review of a cafe they just went in once. That. is. Nuts.

It's always been fabulous. Never had even an average main course there.

I've got to say I cannot for the life of me fathom why someone would make an account on a forum just to make that post. It might - by some huge stretch - be genuine, but the laws of the Internet say otherwise. I mean, Katie, you said you hadn't posted online before and you joined here to look around, yet you've not chosen to post on so much as one single thread. So, what's more likely, that you joined here solely with the purpose of promoting a company OR you took the time to sign up and rather than post an introduction or comment on ANY other thread (which surely is your intent), you thought it'd be a great idea to promote the Coffee Bean. I'm sure you can see why people on here find that incredibly dubious, and, dare I say, rather duplicitous. Or... You were somehow surfing the web in the 8 days between posts, saw this and felt compelled to sign up and make a comment. Neither option makes any sense at all. You really couldn't make this stuff up! I'd much rather people were honest about this kind of self promotion. I've seen it a thousand times having been moderators on this and other forums, and the excuses are almost always exactly the same. No one can (or will) blame a company for pulling this kind of stunt but it would be MUCH better for companies to just own up and say: hey, we're HEERE...! Try posting something in the evenings out section. Just don't give us crap which no one believes; it just makes you look bad!

Awful experience tonight at the new Cosmo. The drinks were fine, but the food was god-awful. Fatty, gristly meat; the worst duck (pancakes) I've ever tasted, most of the specials were tasteless. The 'hot' dishes were just bland (the rice and noodles were cooked fine, though). The sushi was basically three types which were gone as soon the chef put them out (sure they were busy but is that an excuse, really?). It was generally of a low standard. You'd be impressed if you'd not visited many Chinese restaurants but this one was pretty poor. And SALTY. SHEESH!!! I think I've had my salt quota for the year already. In one sitting!!! The pizza was average, the Italian just rubbery and dry. Overall, extremely poor experience which was mitigated somewhat by the 2for1 offer. This place will REALLY not be worth £13.99 unless they significantly improve the quality of the food. Its still early days and that may yet happen, but there are just so much better buffet-type places and this felt like it was straight out of the 90s. What did other people think?

I have the solution: steaming your face REALLY helps! I suffered for the first time in my life late last year and I was in agony. Someone recommended steaming my face and it provided relief almost immediately. So try that and it should help

Does anyone know where I can find a decent CAD artist? I want a real world object creating in CAD and hoped I could find someone to do this for me... Maybe there are websites for this kind of thing? I've applied at my usual artisty places with no response (they clearly don't attract the same kind of artists / designers).

WOW. Someone has a rule people don't like and rather than go find a place with rules they DO like, they get up in arms about it. People obviously have nothing better to do with their time, because if I don't like a policy, I go elsewhere. It must just be easier to shout and complain to get your own way than to see actual sense and show respect for another person or company's beliefs.
