I have minimal experience in construction and a year's experience in journalism (though only for a paper with a circulation of 7,900), and that's about it.

In the beginning, I'm looking for anything that will get me by. I would be interested in a job at a local paper, since that's what I do now. But I'm not too choosy, as long as I can live off it with possibly a roommate.

I am a 17 year old American who wants to move to the U.K. and is considering Sheffield. What are the job opportunities for an 18 or 19 year old in Sheffield? How hard is it to get a job?
