  1. Fascinating thread, if I had the time I'd like to have a go at learning something like this.
  2. Does this not all depend on whether you have opted to take out the additional legal cover on the policy ? Normally this is a separate charge which covers you for recovery of excess and any other indirect costs. If this is a fault accident and there is no legal cover in place you will have to defend this at your own cost.
  3. Hi, I was born in 1976 and brought up on Carrfield Drive which was built on the "Doker". There was still plenty to explore, we made countless dens out of the old corrugated iron left from the old bomb shelters, fell out of plenty of trees and spent most of our school holidays on here getting into trouble, I still live around Heeley Green now and the "Doker" is still there albeit it seems that the days of children playing here and enjoying themselves like we used to have gone.
  4. I have the HD Pack and no Sky Sports and still get the F1 channel.
  5. I would say you're in a win win situation. If it's a 2010 car it is surely at the front of the queue for replacement, if you had started the job in a 1/2 year old car you would have been worse off !
  6. Your granddad wasn't called John by any chance was he ?
  7. Go to Excel, click File, select Options, select Advanced, scroll down to Display options for this worksheet and untick Show sheet left to right. Done.
  8. I love it when a plan comes together. Let's hope they leave it and call round for them on Christmas Day right in the middle of their dinner ! A nice long afternoon in a cold cell I should think...... and then obviously let them go with a stern telling off !
  9. I wouldn't be too sure - I am 99.9% certain that it will show as cleared funds but you will not be able to draw on it. I work in accounts and have had this conversation with our bank on several occasions when supplying goods to individuals and businesses with low score credit ratings.
  10. Express clearance doesn't mean that the cheque will be available to be drawn on any quicker, it merely means that the account is checked prior to the funds being deposited in your account and still takes 5 days to clear. A con from the bankers, who'd have thought it !
  11. Yes, meal was excellent, will definitely use again. We always use Shaan on London Rd and can't really fault their food apart from if you don't order tikka meat (either lamb or chicken) you normally get tiny pieces which don't really taste of much. I had a lamb and spinach meal (can't remember which one it was but it wasn't saag) and my partner had chicken tikka bhuna. Both meals were great. Will still use Shaan .. at least we have a choice now. Many of the ones we have used in the past seem to get complacent with the quality of food and service over time so we always end up having to change from one takeaway to another. I'm already thinking about which different meals I can try off their menu for next time!
  12. Cheers - hope the previous posts live up to the meal !
  13. Anyone know the telephone number of Bombay Spice? I have looked in the phone book on the internet etc, and cannot find anywhere. I don't want to double the bill by hanging on 118 118 if I don't have to !
