  1. Hi all, There was an incident in the Soyo bar last Thursday 19th June (night of the England match vs Uruguay) around 12.30am where a male was attacked in the bar. I don't want to put details on here, in case it jepordises any court case, but you would know what I am talking about if you witnessed it. If you were there, and saw this incident or if you know who may have done this, please, please call the CID department at Snig Hill. Even the smallest detail could be relevant. The male was very seriously injured and the attacker needs to be identified. :help: Many thanks, Sid1978. ---------- Post added 24-06-2014 at 20:46 ---------- Shameless Bump.
  2. What Timewarper says. It sounds to me as if Timberland works for Secure Solutions...
  3. Hi saunaman. I currently work for G4S. Send me a PM and I'll tell you all you need to know! Sid1978
  4. My bro' worked at Telewest around that time. Not exactly sure... If you know him, you might be able to guess his name from my username? He worked as 1st or 2nd line support if my memory serves me correct........
  5. Just for you cooking fat... http://www.uksteam.info/tours/trs11.htm
  6. Hello all. Due to the sad loss of a great freind Tom Collins to cancer at just 48 years old, it was decided we would start a charity cricket club named Crab CC, which will take in many friendly games over the summer months all in aid of charity. The aim being to raise as much money as possible for St Lukes Hospice based up on Little Common Lane at Sheffield S11. We all want to help repay them for all the help they offered to Tom and his family during his fight with cancer. Tom was an active playing member at Millhouses CC, Hathersage,De La Salle and was the captain of the Meerkats midweek team during his cricketing career. The main game of the season, which we are hoping you will be able to support is against Lashings CC, and will take place at Abbeydale Sports Club, Abbeydale Road South, on the old Yorkshire CC pitch on Tuesday 30th August 2011. It's a 35 over game. If we last that long!! For those of you who are not aware of who Lashings CC are... Here is the probable squad for the game: I must stress that this is the 'probable' line up and is open to change. Ed Giddins James Marshall Henry Olonga Wasim Jaffer Chris Harris Mohammad Akram Devon Malcolm Saqlain Mushtaq Shaun Udal Ian Butler Mark Ealham They also have John Lever as the team manager and are bringing along Henry Blofeld to commentate! website: http://www.lashings.co.uk All the Pro's are turning up for no charge to simply support the charity event which is fantastic, our part of the deal is to get 200 corporate guests to the event. We will be having a three course meal mid way through the innings, this will give us the opportunity to sell tables to corporate companies/individuals, 10 friends @ £55 each will buy a table for the day, including 3 course meal, entry to the game etc etc ... A few pints with your mates would be a top day out... One pro will be sat on each table for you to chat with. The Lashings will also be bringing along all sorts of items to auction off during the interval that will again help provide further funds for the charity.. again these will be one off items i would expect, signed bats, shirts, gloves, photo's etc etc... We are also working on having Dickie Bird as one of the umpires of the day along with one other, who is to be decided... We are also able to offer sponsership to this great event in the way of a banner situated at the ground, along with an article about the company printed within the handbook/programme.. The price is £250... a bargain considering what a crowd puller this game is going to be. You can come to watch - Entry to the game is to be paid on arrival and is expected to be £5.00. I really do appreciate you all taking the time to read this long note, if anyone can offer any financial support/contacts through work please do not hesitate to contact me, i will be very pleased to hear from anyone.. :help: Sid1978
  7. Stocksbridge Cricket Club have an under 9's team if they are interested in cricket. I'm not too sure what we could do for the 4 year old though... Sid.
  8. Translation: Hello, do you need a football referee? You're best off asking me the week of the match due to work commitments. I am level 7. Call 07967129780 and ask for Charlotte (guaranteed all the weirdo's calling you now by putting your mobile on line...) I prefer to referee tournaments or small sided games e.g. 5-a-side although I would consider 11-a-side games if asked. Thanks!
  9. Thank you for reminding me why I've stopped reading this site. What a pair of c.................
  10. Where does it say £800,000? I can't see him being worth that much!
  11. Thanks all. Makes it easier in the morning - one less thing to worry about!!
  12. Any advice on this would be great for me too! I'm starting a new job tomorrow in Worksop. I'll be travelling from South Sheffield - so A57 through Todwick. If this is closed, does anyone know what the road is like going past Van Dykes?
  13. McCabe was on the radio last night and was directly asked by Seth Bennett if he could see a situation where he 'would take his money out of the club'. McCabe categorically said no he couldn't. As long as McCabe doesn't want his money back anytime soon, United are financially secure. And with no external debt, would be a very attractive proposition for external investment. I think this is why the hotel and foreign clubs have gone. It's easier to invest into one thing - not the club, hotel, foreign clubs etc. But I do love all the Wednesday fans jumping about saying we are in the shtum. Yeah, we have to cut the wage bill, but we've known that for the past 2 - 3 seasons. It's nothing knew.
