  7. We gave him a lift from Tinsley WMC to the pub on the Moor had it stitches all these way don't make him anymore very funny guy At to be at the club he was on at 7pm (that's when they opened) to get a seat

  10. I play golf with a lot ex steels men and 90% of them say what a cushy number they had never worked a full shift on nights some even went out on the town. Ron liked to be one of the boys liked be there boss .Saw many fights between Ron and drivers.   13. Are you part of the Sherwood family then but nothing to do with transport side I knocked about with Brian when he came to work for them would he be still alive .Did Ken have a son ?
  14. Yes he was I started when the garage was on Richmond Rd and Harry lived in the house next door there we moved to Holywell Rd .They had then Seddons Atkinson Erf Foden and a AEC Plus 1 artic .Have some good memories of my time there
  15. Hi worked for Richmond Rd Transport as apprentice mechanic It was run by Ron and Ken they had 2 brothers Eric and Mark and a sister they bought out. Ken lived in the house on Holywell Rd .Ron had a son called Brian who also worked there

  17. I don't know what i do know my mother and father was. I can remember her going on simulation they had every so often she was a nurse .I can remember her going to the Cutlers Hall for diner with Princess Margaret
  18. Hi Dave . Mine name is Roger Jones left Christmas 1958 your name rings a bell .A few years ago now Ray Burnham celebrated a birthday and Good few of his old class mates went also Mr Phillips he did not look any different but what relay amazed me we hall called him Sir even Keith Hancox
