It depends on the contract you had with the Tennant, when i rented a property in brewery wharf, it specifically mentioned in the contract i was not allowed to change any utility providers without permission in writing from the landlord. Im not saying the tenant was in the right to change this without landlords permission, but if not in tenancy agreement might be hard to enforce. As mentioned previously i would speak to your chosen provider explain to them and see what they can sort out for you.

well i dont know how many of you remember, its quite a good few years ago that the council put council taxes up by £5.00 per household solely to keep our roads in good repair. WHAT A JOKE. I live off chapel road burncross and believe me cart tracks are much smoother. Huh, some council, some highways dept.

my wife and i and some friends of ours went to the yorkshire bridge for a meal, on the way back over mosca top we saw a brilliant orange sphere high in the sky towards sheffield, we stopped the car to watch it for a while and it appeared to be stationery but then moved quite quickly to the east, dont have a clew what it was.

I love my fish and chips, but have not found one single chippy in sheffield that i could honestly say was any good. If you really want real fish and chips take the huddersfield road from sheff and turn off for manchester at the roundabout for penistone, down the hill to the traffic lights, turn left for penistone and the chippy is directly on your right, believe me the run out is well worth it. The next best is at wickersley near the line of shops,(beware when entering car park there is a tree separating inward and outward but again well worth the run out. I think sheffield chippy proprieters should go to either of these chippies to be taugt how to do it right!!!!!!.

I remember this man many years ago when he was a gaffer at a wigfalls repair dept was not a very nice man then as i recall!!!

Does anyone know who owns the black kitten with a red collar in the chapel road/ cypress gate area of chapeltown. We cannot get rid of it and ofcourse it must be someones pet.

Did anyone see the mitsubishi 4x4 shogun which reversed out of Chaucer road shops opposite Road and Rally into a blue volkswagen polo which was parked on the pavement, causing extensive damage to it. The driver got out of his truck to inspect the damage then drove off. The vehicle we believe was two tone blue and silver. A video recording of the incident is to be placed in the Police hands if the driver does not come forward within the next 24hrs. If you should know the driver there is a reward. Heading from bracken hill towards sheffield the bit of road where 3 accidents have taken place in as many months I have found that if you keep well left as you should be doing when approaching the right hand bend the road is so badly in need of repair (bumpy etc) drivers tend to keep well to the centre of the road, when you think about the proper line for the oncoming traffic (left hand bend) you should keep well to your right soas to see better round the approaching bend, one small missap and bingo you have a head-on collision. the highways dept need to examine this road sooner than later, or its just a matter of time before the next fatality.

Be on your guard in this area, Three ford focus cars have been broken into overnight (4 4 09, radios have been stolen from each car. anyone know of the intruders please phone ecclesfield police.

Does anyone know if there are any height adjustable seats from any other make of vehicle that will fit straight into my van.
