  1. (PS - here's a great book on the subject!)
  2. Hi, Before you get into the technicalities of ad-schemes, affiliate marketing, and so on, you need to work out a good content strategy to make sure you're not wasting your time and money. In your content strategy should be: Who are my audience? How many posts a week will I make? How will I keep the quality up? How will I get people to link to this content? How can I make my content as unique as possible? We've all been there, putting a lot of time into the monetize setup of a site, only for it to run out of steam in the first 2-3 months because you ran out of interesting content, or failed to make the content attractive and unique enough. If your content is great, then attracting users (and getting money from their clicks) will be a MUCH easier task. Good luck!
  3. Definately Kate Bush or Debbie Harry for the girls!
  4. Ah glad you appreciate the warmth and care of vinyl too! The turntable was only £25. Bargain! I got it from a Cash Convertors near my parents house in the midlands. It came with a very good condition stylus too which is often a problem when you buy the old ones. You should definately keep your eye on the 2nd hand shops because I think people just throw these things out!
  5. I just bought this old turntable, its a Yamaha from the 70s I think. http://bit.ly/blsnE (picture) Anybody else love old turntables / amps etc?
  6. South of France sounds perfecto... so Easyjet is the best way to get there? camping... sounds devine! Just gotta see if we can get there before summer ends!
  7. Where should I go on Holiday, in Europe, that isnt the 'usual' places? Ideas!
  8. It was pretty ace. Dead funny at the end where his girlfriend and friends said 'basically, after this, he turned into an arse'
  9. Its a garage subgenre which got big in the late 90s. 2-step is suited toward more R&B ear types you see. Plenty of late 90s 2-step was just remixes or resamples of R&B around at the time. Speed Garage is/was heavier, more 4x4, driving. Dubstep just came from the Garage scene. It really doesnt have too much to do with Garage now. Down here in London, the Dubstep and Garage scenes are massively separated.
  10. Moon - 3/10 Interesting but general cinema badtimes.
  11. Rose Cottage in Castleton does nice tea, its full of old ladies though (beware?)
  12. Agreed, if you can get out of the city, you'll have a cracking time in any of the villages.
  13. I was so dissapointed in myself, because I was the age where it was dead cool to watch horror movies and show off about it. My dad had to give me a scientific rundown on why a ghost wasnt about to eat my soul that night.
  14. Hey, Yeah I Love this band too! Didnt they play in Sheffield a while ago? Off the album, I love 'The Gap', 'Stockholm syndrome' and the end track about dancing, its the last night on earth.. ha
