makes it even better now that I have just got a new hi fi and the total watts is it will be blasting out 650 watts and my speakers stand over 2 foot tall so get ready sheffield for the loudest rock/metal music you will listen too and if the weather is going to hot on friday,saturday,sunday then I am having a weekend party with plenty of loud rock music plenty of booze and plenty of neighbours to wish us luck when we leave this god forsaken hole they called sheffield. oh and dont reply to me because I will know longer be on this forum in about 1 hours time.

I wonder if they would argue which side they butter there bread on or when you do butter it do you do all the corners as well or just do the middle. then again I wonder if they would argue which is the best way to stir a cup of tea or coffee.

I have my rock music blasting out when the weather is very warm but I am in competion with my next door neighbour he blasts out robbie williams and all that sh*t pop music like madness, whitney houston, tina turner and so forth but I on the other hand blast out the likes of Iron maiden, metallica, ac/dc, deep purple, black sabbath, motorhead, pink floyd, uriah heep and all the other rock/metal groups but we knock it off at 18:00 as it is not fair on the younger people them below the age of 4, but my son who is 4 years old sulks if I turn down my rock/metal music because thats what we are bringing him up to listen too not this sh*t music they call pop music. when he was in my girlfriends womb and about 2 months before he was due to be born we would always play rock music not loud and when he was born he use to listen to heavy metal music so he could go to sleep we have tried every music to get him to sleep but it is heavy metal/rock music that he sleeps on and in the morning if you dont watch him he will put the cd player on and turn up the rock music what is on the disc's.

why as the cricket season started already yipee this is sure better than football and a lot more enjoyable i shall be listening on my radio to the cricket scores come on england.

add him to the never ending list of the people who throw themselfs under the trains in the stations, maybe they might realise that a train either leaving the station or coming in to it wont be going very fast, if they want to kill themselfs then do it further up the line when the trains are travelling fast that way know body in the station will throw up when they see the person under the train, because there wont be much left of him. I have seen countless people go under the trains in midland station and none of them have been killed been badly damaged but they have lived. I shall now wait for the comments on what I will get for putting all that down but am I bothered NO.

my daughter likes him a lot but like I told her we could have his face put on the bottom of our toilet so when it came to take a pee or the other one he would cop it in the face I cant repeat what my daughter said to me but she does have a big poster of him on her wall, well she did up to two weeks ago until I went and altered his face with my black marker pen. I have now got a liftime ban from going in to her room but I am happy has she is the one who as to hoover her bedroom up and not me.

I use to wear one in the seventies when I was knocking about the club scenes with a group they was a comedy group which when you think about it the only comedy they did was when they went for a beer from after playing, the comedy side was left to me as I use to take tommy cooper off so i had to wear a bow tie and a suit when they had been playing for about 10 minutes I would walk in to the concert room with my bow tie spinning round complete with my cario fez on taking tommy cooper off, the people would watch me instead of the group and yes I use to **** up some of the tricks that i did so the group use to complain and then I would get ejected from the concert room, only to walk on the stage throught the stage door and then start again doing my tommy cooper take offs, buy this time the group would refuse to play until I had been escorted out of the club all the time my bow tie would still be spinning then i would come back in just has the group had finnished and the lead singer would announce this is our comedy front man.

I got a letter last week saying I had won a holiday to florida and this came from some company called club la costa ( uk ) in london it also goes on to say that I will get seven nights luxury accommodation for up to 4 people along with 4 return flights, it also goes on to say that I will recieve some bonus gifts like free vouchers worth £75 redeemable at argos,mark and spencers, john lewis, debenhams and selfridges and that i should be at their leeds office for 19:00 next friday night to claim it also this hoilday is valid for 18 months, then i got a phone call from them on thursday asking if I would be going to leeds on the friday to pick it up, my reply was know I dont think so as I will be busy with my new bride who as just had her 65th birthday they put the phone down on me. nothing is free in this world you have to pay for everything holidays included

here here best thing that could ever happen get them in the forces and get all the pent up aggression out of them fighting in the wars what are going of in this world.

did I see something on the forum about a hot air balloon festival coming up sometime this month or in july at greaves park. or did I imagine it oh dont tell me I have missed it as it was last month, I shall have to start and put the dates of any festivals what come up on the forum into my work diary so then i know I shall not miss them.

jen13kd for your information I work for a living and have done for the past 20 years and i will still be working when I am 70 years old and above, thats if I live that long. I shall not retire but just carry on working until I cant work anymore but even if I did retire I will not except that i would get free travel on the buses because I would pay for my fare. so my answer to you is stopping getting on your high horse good look to you that you are working you are one of the lucky people, but just think about all the millions of unemployed people who cant get a job and why cant they get a job because this all stems from the days of maggie thatcher when she was the prime minster, the iron maiden or tin knickers as we use to call her took it on her self with her other cronnies in the conservative party to start and shut down all the coal mines, then the steel works copied it and so forth so just look at the jobs what was lost there. also she even started the 3 day working week what she nearly did is bring this country to a stand still what with all the jobs what was losted. so my answer to the unemployed is I back them all the way and lets hope they carry on getting there free bus travel, free specs and so forth they also do have to go with out things what you people can afford who are working.so lets just hope you dont finnish up on the scrap heap

to bjshooter you didnt know that you could get discounted travel, these off peak travel masters have been going for a very long time and when I say long I mean a good 20 years or maybe longer than that when they first came out,the cost of one was about £2.00 and it lasted you just like now for 7 days and you can use them all day saturday & sunday and all bank holidays. they are not valid before 09:00am monday to friday but they finnish on the last bus from the interchange ie before 12:00 midnight. all you need is proof that you are unemployed either with a letter from the SS or that you get income support then take a passport photo down with you and away you go free travel on the buses or trains or the trams anywhere in south yorkshire. I use to have one and I was never in the house I was out living it up and watching all the office people and the other soft people who work go to there jobs, while I could travel anywhere in south yorkshire in the hot summer months and have a cold beer sat outside the pub knowing that at the end of the week my giro would be here and I could carry on doing what I did. but all that came to a close when I started working for my self doing photography. so who is going to be the first one to jump on me about this what i have just wrote.

so most of you people are saying that unemployed people are lazy s*ds and dont deserve a unemployed pass, so then lets ask this question how do you expect them to go for jobs or interviews if they dont have the bus pass what do you want them to do walk, oh so if they have to walk which is what would happen would you walk all the way say to doncaster or barnsley, the answer to that is know you wouldnt job interview or not and as for the guy who says he as been working since he was 15 what are you now 16 because with that attitude what you have got I wouldnt have you working with me. do you realise that most of the unemployed cant get jobs they are either too old or they havent got the qualifications to do the job, and before you all jump I am talking jobs like plumbers, electricians and so forth. also my son cant work due to ill health so all these other unemployed people who cant work because they are mental ill or in wheelchairs are lazy s*ds as well. I think this if you were to go on the unemployment you would find out how hard its to find jobs and how do you supose they are to live if they dont get there benefit's or there handouts so what I say is show this one to your work mates and have a laugh about it, but dont forget you could finnish up on the pile of unemployed or will that not happen to you as you are the son of GOD.

I drink cappuchino's nearly every day when i am out and about working well doing my photography and the most I have ever paid for a capp is £2.45 and this was a grande in cafe nero's in doncaster. but my mate even went one better when we was in nottingham we called for a capp in one of the cafe's we go in and he paid for a grande £2.90 and they had the cheek to charge him an extra 25p for the chocolate powder what you sprinkle on, hence we wont be going in there again.

I didnt know that the off peak travel passes what the unemployed get had gone up until I went in for one with my son, last week they was priced at £9.50 but today we got a shock they went up on bank hoilday monday and are now priced at £10.50 there was know mention of it last week they was going up and it is not that long ago they went up. would this mean that all travel masters have gone up and I bet this is something do with the old age pensioners getting free bus travel, as they are now losing money from them they will have decided to put the unemployed travel masters up to recover the loss of the OAP's. if they carry on putting the travel masters up then it will be a waste of time going on the buses and I bet the all day savers will be going up or have they gone up are they still £3.50?. this bloody bus group first is the worse bus company running I bet nearly all the bosses of first group have got big s**** cars to run about in, I could understand it if we had got some brand new buses as we will have to pay for them but not when we are using buses that some of them are over 20 years old and the london buses are over 12 years old. will it never end putting either the travel passes up or even the bus fares up.

good god I wish my monthly outgoings was like that, i live in a 3 bedroom house with my partner and 3 kids and every month I shell out £50 electric per month £55 gas per month £40 water per month £460 rent per month £120 telephone and internet per month £125 shopping bill every week plus money for clothes for everybody pocket money for my kids which is £10 every week plus I have to buy all my own camera gear.

and thats how i can remember sheffield not like it is now just a complete mess I still think the old sheffield was the best, all these new buildings what are being put up are just a blot on the landscape, there is know character in them take the old rag & tag market you could buy anything in that market from live stock like hens, pigeons, and so forth I bet there is not many on here who can remember the big brass weighting scales that was in the old rag & tag market. I just wished I was taking photos of old sheffield when I was younger they would be brilliant to look back on now, just like them of ron sanderson took. i grew up in sheffield when it use to be like that so it did bring back some memories of the old sheffield that I knew.I will have to see about buying his book as I am now trying to get a collection of the old sheffield what I knew I need to take them to scotland when I move.

I have just done my work for today finnished at 11:00am been out near goole I was there at 03:30am to do some sunrises then on to hull at 05:00am to do some photos of the humber bridge. but I shall be back out at 16:00pm until 20:00pm as I have got some more photos to do out at derby and the railway cottages. I would rather work in all my holidays I dont like being stuck in the house getting bored I am not a house person, I need to be out and about and photographing.

I am clutching at long straws at the moment but I need any information on a chap called ruben allan beaumont or if anybody knew him, he use to work for the public health service and was a driver for them he also use to play the piano in a pub in greenhill village called the white swan, sometimes he also played in the private club just down from the woodseats working mens club. I am also looking for a lady who use to be called beverly chappel and the last know where abouts where she lived was up near the norton water tower.this chap also used to live on lowedges at the back of the magpie pub and beverly chappel did at one time live on edmund close or road at greenhill she had a brother called paul and another sister but cant remember what they called her, beverly chappels mum was called sylvia if anybody as got any information or they know of them will you send me a pm regarding this please. this information is urgent as I need to get in touch with them. also ruben allan beaumont was a good artist and did a lot of old drawings of sheffield in pen and ink he use to do a lot of railway pictures in oils.he did also use to live on gresley ave at the back of the grennel moor pub at lowedges. I hope some one can help me find them.

I shall be crying on the day I leave sheffield for good which is in august, i will be leaving all my friends what i have made and met in person through this forum it will be a very sad day for me but it will also be a happy one as well as I am going to start a new life away from south yorkshire. I didnt cry when I lost my dad I couldnt as I was told by my stepmum he had died 6 months ago only I had found out he had only died 1 month ago. my tears then was for anger and what I am going to do to that posh bitch if I ever see her again my time will come and boy will she suffer, I then might cry as I didnt see my day on the day he did die my tears are being kept back for the day I have hold off my stepmum the tears I shed when I leave sheffield is the differient tears these will be sad tears the others will be tears of joy as it will have took me a very long time to get hold of her.so yes I will cry and the gates will open there is nothing wrong with a man crying.

I will back them all the way on this reopening of the woodhead railway stuff the ramblers they are a pain the neck at the best of times oh you cant do that and you cant do this, it contravines the rural issues all they would do is move the walking route for the ramblers god you would think they are going to move it about 50 miles away. bring back the woodhead railway thats what I say I just hope I live long enough to see it open back up again, if I had got a fair few million pounds in the bank I would offer them at least 2 million pounds towards reopening it.

we have just losted one of our bus drivers he was on the 24 going from rotherham to sheffield and he had a heart attack lucky there was only 1 passenger on the bus at that time in the moring, he had only been driving for first bus for 15 months my heart goes out to his family on there sad loss. so I think we should give the bus drivers a break after all they are only doing there job, yes some are grumpy and some are happy how would you feel having to be up at 04:00am and then out on the road at 05:00am and picking passengers up who some of them dont even know what day it is or what planet they are from. nearly all our drivers are brilliant in rotherham and they do help you not like the miserable sods in sheffield ask them something and they just shout at you or tell you to p*ss off, mind you they dont like bus enthusiast as we know more than what they know. we can get information where as they cant lets just hope we have got some brilliant bus drivers in greeenhills and not the one near lowedges I am talking about my new home in scotland.

I had a stepmum who was very posh she didnt get on with me because I am working class and she talks with a plum in her gob which she always does, if she caught me doing things under the bedcovers she would talk in a very high posh voice I am going to see your faaarther about you, you disgusting child all I was doing under the bedcovers was eating a jam sandwhich what do you think I was doing a lad at my age just turned 15?. this is how much I hated her when they did get married my dad and it, I threw tinned rice pudding at her and not the normal rice what you could buy to throw at weddings even the wedding cake well her slice of it had got mustard on it, I told her it was a new kind of icing you could hear her throwing up over the disco music. so I am glad she is out of my life now as I dont like people who try to be posh or even are posh I have know time for them and some good solid hard graft will kill them.

so how come I have got one stamped from the state penitentiary in the USA and it as got the date inside of it and from the guy who made it, dont forget I bought this zippo when I was in the states about 25 years ago and I got it from a tobbaconist in new york who told me that is where zippos are made in the prison. so I believe him and there is quite a few of my mates who all own zippos have said the same thing. the early lighters was made in the prisons before zippo went big.

that is still true the prisoners in the USA still make them, and the numbers or dates are in deed what they are serving or even if they are on death row. I have got a zippo lighter dated 1973 and the guy who made was put to death 3 weeks after I got my lighter from them. so this is one that I keep well looked after also zippo lighters have got a full life repair on them so if it breaks down or there is something wrong with it, you take it back to the shop where you bought it and they send it back to be repaired free of charge, and yes all zippo lighters are made in the USA and by the prisoners. there is nobody else who makes them there is of cause plenty of copies of them but they are not the true zippo lighters, even the chinese havent tried to copy them they would be in very big trouble if they did.
