cheers for the above, but managed to get disk management to create a new partition. which is a little helpful cause i can use one partition for all my media stuff and the other for rest of my stuff

this means buying a new OS which is not what a wanted to do has XP Pro is about £100 online. I just thought it may be possible to setup different partitions e.g have a 40gig space for windows and setup files, then have two 100gig partitions for games and docs/ media stuff. 'Never had known that there was a limit of 137gig in Windows Xp untill this week'

Hi, just bought a new Weston digital 250GB HDD, went to format the drive but would only let me partition the drive with 130GB. My first thought was the BIOS, but when looking in the BIOS and setting the primary master to user type hdd, it shows the correct size but windows will not let me partition the full amount of 250GB. I have a asus A7v-880 motherboard and trying to install Windows XP home, does anyone have any ideas why am losing over 100GB of space. Carl

I travel from my parents (just outside Chesterfield) to Bolton almost everyday. takes me 1.5 to 2hrs, go over A6 through Buxton, the only traffic i hit is at Stockport but as long as you dont hit rush hour you are alright.

you need to close down the proccess that is been ran, once you have done this you can delete the file/folder

Am at SHU on my placement year atm, and for the summer we have to do a report on our "professional and key skills". where we have 2 find a job advert that we would apply for after we finish, research the company, then analyse our career objectives and key skills. So the uni is intending to help us for after we finish the degree and try find a job for real.

So for the sake of reachin into you wallet and showing your ID, is it worth the hassle of havin an attitude?

The ppl in Westway need to read. I work in a bar in town and its £80 fine if we serve underage ppl. So i ID every1 who looks under 25 as it is not worth the risk. Carl
