  2. This is a long shot but I don't suppose anyone that went to see RWBY and doesn't want their discount code would be willing to let me have it please ? As you will know its a single use code but We've already used ours. I'm hoping to buy a figure for a birthday gift as well which I obviously didn't want to order at the same time to keep it a surprise. Please PM me if you'd be kind enough to help out. Thanks

  6. Frazer I've replied to your other post about this, sainsburys is NOT closing down The staff would be first to know and nothing has been said. Don't know who's been telling you these rumours but they're nonsense!
  7. Frazer1974 No sainsburys is not closing down (assuming you mean the Halifax rd branch) Unless of course they plan to do it without telling the staff .

  16. It may be End of chat for you John but as the person who started the thread I still find any suggestions a great help if its of no interest to you why not ignore any new posts on the matter.
  17. My son had the same thing happen on his results day a few years ago we were away on holiday on results day. It was booked at the last minute as my son had been really ill and a holiday was the best therapy for him at the time. we obviously couldnt give school any warning as it was the 6 weeks hols so we asked his grandad to collect his results. He took a letter from my son stating sons name date of birth and just wrote I give permission for my grandad (name) .......... to collect my exam results. Any problems please telephone me (number)...... its quite common these days as quite a few kids get summer jobs and arent able to collect them. as a back up plan he could always write an additional letter saying that hes unable to collect them in person and could they please post them to his home address. Take both letters with you and if for some reason they wont give them to you then give them the 2nd letter. School exams officers are usually really helpful you shouldnt have any problems. Good luck to your son
  18. Thanks for all the suggestions I managed to find what I was looking for in the original post but Im grateful for all the new suggestions. My son is a singer and budding actor and always in need of new costumes (which I generally have to make for him) so Im always on the look out for not so mainstream fabrics.
  19. Have you tried 'fightback' you seem to have recommended them to other people a few times I thought they would be top of your list. I agree with the others though surely the best person to know how your sons adhd affects him is you?
  20. Hi spartan Have you still got this car and would you be available for a prom at very short notice ...like tommorow? My original plans have fallen through and Im stuck. would need collecting from hillsborough, pick up a friend from worrall then into city centre. no more than an hour in total. very sensible passengers. If so would you please message me with a price and contact details. Thanks
  21. They came to us a few weeks ago to fix the sewage drain they were sent by yorkshire water. A few weeks before we had a visit from them to inspect the sewage pipe as there had been report of a blockage further up the street and they showed me the problem. I was a bit naughty because I was home alone and wanted to check them out so I told them that I was housesitting so I couldnt give them permission to do the work. They left a form to fill in to give permission and tell them of any access problems etc. I checked them out and they were genuine so the form was sent back though it wasnt signed and they promptly arrived and fixed it.
  22. I wrote to them about it yesterday not to ask for help but just to explain the reason behind it. Were trying to move house to one more suitable but it takes time .
  23. Instead of moaning about peoples untidy gardens does it ever to anyone to actually go and ask if the residents are ok? There could be any number of reasons why someones garden is not kept perfectly maintained. There was, many years ago a house in the area where I lived as a child with a really overgrown garden people moaned about it and reported the tenant and still it wasnt sorted. Months later they found the old lady that lived there dead in her bed. We recently had a 'complaint' that our front garden was untidy. Im not able to use the mower, strimmer etc due to MS and my husband was having a tough time with his own health problems. It had been raining a lot and the grass was quite high. This wasnt overgrown by choice but due to genuine problems sorting it out. Some 'kind' neighbour complained to the Housing and we got a stroppy letter. Whatever happened to community spirit and good neighbours who would come and check that you were ok instead of reporting you to the housing . Honestly for such a supposedly nice area Ive never known such a bunch of selfish busy bodies.
  24. Does anyone know of any fabric shops in sheffield please? I only know of the one in hillsborough and they dont have what I'm looking for. thanks
  25. I dont doubt the rules are set by the nhs but you only need to look at the replies to this post to see that there is a wide variation of how the rules are applied. Ive been wearing glasses (none nhs) for 35 years and my kids have both worn them since they were 5 for a medical condition weve noticed many discrepencies in rules/ recommendations surrounding repairs amongst the different practices .
