  4. Does anyone have any pictures or photos of these areas before WW2 ? I need them for research into my family tree.I want to copy them and will return them undamaged.I will cover any postage costs.
  5. Does anyone have any prints of the late P.O.Jones?He taught me art in the 70s and released about 8 of his pictures in prints of 500.I managed to obtain the ones of Fargate; The Old Bank;Moorhead;Coles Corner and Pinstone St but cant find the others.
  6. A book called A Walkley Camera came out in 2004;by J.R.Wrigley {not J.R.Hartley}.Its not bad and shows photos Past and Present of the district.
  7. Landlord in question was Graham Pugh (Pughy),he left to run the Freemasons at Hillsbrough in 1987 but left about 3 years ago to run a W.M.C in Woodhall Spa.He was a permanent fixture in Menzels on Friday nites till he moved away.I was a regular in The Sun almost every nite from 81 till a couple of years ago and remember the Tuesday nite discos-where no one ever danced.
  8. I nearly drowned in Millhouses boating lake at the age of 2.My grandad(who swam for Yorkshire) saved me.I have never been the same since!!The lido should definiteley be rebuilt. At least the food is good in the cafe by the boating lake;especially the Sunday breakfast.
  9. Martin Kelner sometimes does Look Leeds (sorry I meant Look North) on a Saturday.
