  1. The co op has closed down, it was just on the wall outside, I think someone must have picked it up, i have tried in the soft play zone next door but no luck
  2. My friend has lost her little boys teddy, it is small and brown. I saw it outside the Co-op in Hillsborough this morning on the wall but assumed it belonged to someone else. However on talking to her this evening it was hers. Please could whoever has picked it up let me know so I can return it to its rightful owner. She is prepared to pay a small reward for his safe return. Thanks
  3. Hi, I think the workmen are doing something with the tramtracks, I thought it smelt more of glue/adhesive, they have been closing the road every night last week to do something with them anyway.
  4. I had my wedding reception at Burton Street which is an old Victorian school in Hillsborough, it was lovely we had 50 people for a 3 course meal which was amazing and we got married at Christmas so it was all decorated with holly and mistletoe, I would highly recommend it, contact Angela for details on 0114 233 2908 xx
  5. I could manage fine on a 2 week collection if not 3 or 4, as long as you recycle your plastic, tins and cardboard the only thing left in your bin is film and food waste which can be composted. For 2 people to fill a bin in a week is madness if they are recycling.
  6. We are looking to have a damp course fitted and some wall treated and was wondering if anyone has had an experience of this company in the last couple of years, positive and negative please Thanks
  7. I got married at the Burton Street Foundation last year, near the Bamford street tram stop they were reasonably priced and have a room big enough for a dj and a bar, give Angela a bell on 0114 233 2908 ext 231 or email at [email protected].
  8. Sadly Classic Rock is booked I have a list of music I am after mainly recent stuff with a bit of 90's.
  9. Hi, Im after a reasonably priced DJ for my wedding on the 3rd December that will play the songs I am after but not be over talkative, just a bit of mild encouragement to get people to dance and to announce the first dance. I realise this is quite short notice with the Christmas period coming up but was wondering if anyone was available. Thanks
  10. If you have a complaint with the water you can contact Yorkshire Water who will come out and take a sample to be analysed. It may be an isolated incident connected to your pipes, or as several people seemed to have a problem, that bit of water mains.
  11. I grew up in Dronfield, and to be honest there isn't a great deal to do there. There is the park mentioned above, but not much in the way of kids entertainment. Head out to the Peak District for a walk, much prettier.
  12. Hi, the doctors at tramways medical centre are actually 2 different practices, one to the right one to the left as you go in. I go to the one on the left, Dr O Connell and partners, (used to be Morley and partners) and they have always been fine with me.
  13. Hi, I was just wondering what it is like round Foxhill Crescent/ Edge Well Crescent as I am looking for a house and they seem quite nice up there but a lot cheaper. Is the area improving ?
  14. Hi, I want to have my wedding reception in Sheffield in a place that doesn't cost the earth. Is there anywhere around the centre or a bit further out that has a function room for a Friday night in December for about 70 people, either to do our own catering or be done by the pub. A nice pub would be nice with a bit of room for a dance. Thankyou.
