Hi No, nothing at all. When the computer is turned on, there is an error message of some sort but there is no time to read it and it's gone. I've been reading just now that the fans on Satellite's are poor? Dust build up, overheating etc. Would this cause a monitor to fail?

Hi I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro P100. The laptop has always got very hot very quick, whether this is down to a poor fan/fan in wrong place I'm not sure. However, my monitor has now failed on the laptop (which I think is due to the overheating) but the laptop works as I've plugged a monitor into it and everything is still there. Does anyone know how I can manually fix this? Or any IT pros want to quote me a price to fix it ASAP? Thanks.
