  4. car washing is by far the easiest way for kids to earn money buy her a bucket, a big container of car shampoo, a couple of shammies (all from jtf/supermarket) and kick her out and tell her not to come back until it all used up (only kidding on the last bit) if she can get another kid from her school to do it with her that would probably be a better idea just for piece of mind

  9. i disagree netbooks are great if you need portability but i think you are best to go for a bigger screen if its just for the house

  11. when the weather turns a bit nicer im gonna have a go at mine looks fairly easy and you the tools you need are not that expensive (if you have a ladder) so have a go yourself as im pretty sure that you will be paying some one to do it otherwise

  14. always a plus one for G tech and while we are on the subject of commending good garages i took my car to Hillcliffe garage on catley road for its M.O.T (i work local and we got some flyers through our door) i dropped the car off and the guy offered to drop me off back at work, gave me a ring as soon as he finished and gave me a good price on the advisory on my MOT (not worth getting my hands dirty) http://www.hillcliffe.co.uk/

  17. when we had our doors done the fitter said not to use wd40 in locks, just had a google and its mixed whether to use it or not. have you tried your spare key(you never know) or you could try cleaning the wd40 out with some brake cleaner. good luck i hope its sorted soon.
  18. ive just recently bought a car from EH in Rotherham and the brakes were making a grating sound even though there was plenty of meat on both pad and disk took it in and they changed the discs and pads free of charge cant say any fairer than that.
  19. whatever you do if you are under the influence DONT leave the keys in the ignition while sleeping in the car and get yourself a sleeping bag(s) because when you get pulled that is a good indication of your intention not to drive. Make sure you are sober before you drive have fun we used to do it all the time (many moons ago) id go for a scenic as their seats lay pretty flat
