Hello I went to Prince Edwards from 1946 to 1957. Remember playing on the pit tip and sliding down to the pond. I only remember one name of pupils at Prince Edward. Her surname was Margery Pye, She lived round about Number 5 Mansfield Road. Often wonder how she got on. Be nice to hear from any one else who was there about then.

Kingfisher. I went to Prince Edwards from 1946 to 1957. I remember Mr Gratton. When I was do to move up to seniors, I changed schools as I didn't like Mr Gratton and might have gone into his class. I moved to Pipworth Road school. I only made one friend at Pipworth Road who was Geof Gratton, his nephew. I only remember one girl at Prince Edward. I'm in my late 60s, been on my own for over 4 years since losing my wife of 30 happy years. We never needed friends so, now I am alone, I don't have any friends as such. O what I would do to find a lady friend, to get together for a couple of hours ever so often, just a bit of closeness. Looked at dating sites but seem to only have members who want soul mates, or younger ladies. For me, age, looks, size don't matter but doubt I will ever find who I am looking for.

Can anyone advise me please. I am 72 years old and have a 4 year old Yorkie, no papers or anything, the seller couldn't even give me her date of birth. The first thing I did was to to have her neutered. shows I am not breeding with her. A few weeks ago, being worried I wasn't able to give her enough stimulation, I heard of an ex breeder Yorkie that desperately needed rehoming, She was petrified of everything and everyone. I took her on and she is coming on great, allows me to pick her up and nurse her and accepts treats and cuddles fom visitors. Still a long way to go. Is it possible to remove my first Yorkie from the PDSA register and replace her with the rescue dog. She needs treatments I just cannot afford.

Hi Everyone I am " blessed " with a largish garden. My wife was the gardener and I was her labourer and to be honest, I have never enjoyed gardening ( did I dare put that here ). Sadly she passed away over 3 years ago and apart from cutting what I laughingly call a lawn, I have neglected it. I keep blaming my age (72) but that excuse is wearing thin. I would describe it as a shrub garden surrounded by trees mainly. So ,I have decided to have a go at it. Working my way to the back to get at the blackberry plants that are taking over, pruning as I go, Stepping back I can see I am ruining it and definately need advice. Is there any gardening group who would send someone to advice me please, what to remove, what to save etc. I realised it is bad when I took on a rescue dog ( Yorkie ) and the first time I let her out into the garden, she dashed into the shrubs in fear and it took 36 hours to get her out. ( Not kidding, it did happen ) Many thanks Keith

As far as I have got is, he sold his business to a Solicitor in or around Figtree Lane. His premises on Cambridge Street came on the market and the last occupier listed was:- David Gagen, Business Consultant. He may have started working for a council down South as a conveyancer. I know he won't have any papers but it was a complicated conveyance and I am sure it was one he will never forget. Geof, if I do manage to trace him, do you want his contact detalis ? Hi I can give you plenty of advice, I have self built twice in groups, one of 24 and one of 12. Then bought a plot in North Anston, built my own and went on to build 9 for sale. Have now built a bungalow which should see me out. Your biggest problem is finding the land, the rest is easy ( apart from money of course) Regards Keith
