When's the 2009 Grand National, and which horse will win?
netheredge replied to Rich's topic in General Sports Chat
it fairly open and a good bet for long shots.. not sure who im backing as yet. Im kind of half hearted because its so cruel and i dont support this sport year long but for personal reasons I feel obliged to at least have a flutter... good luck:hihi: -
I am left handed and have a weak pencil grip with barely legible handwriting and this is something that I have wondered about for some time.. When I was studying I never got round to finding out about whats on the market and regret not doing so. I think a heavier pen would help me (heavy at the point end) I have always wanted to adress this problem so I will be watching this post closely and seeing if there's some good suggestions- keep them coming

Somerfields White lane gleadless..
netheredge replied to Tippen87's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Well recently.. Co op have acquired Somerfield. So as time goes on I will dedide whether I still want to shop at Somerfield. It all depends on the criteria that Co Op implement in the Somerfield brand. -
Somerfields White lane gleadless..
netheredge replied to Tippen87's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Agrees on that basis 100% By way of elimination. I'd rather go to and continue to use White Lane Somerfield than spar or Co-Op. -
I see the RSPCA are appealing through tv adverts. I think anything to help animals is a cause i would support. Im not sure how long the ads have been and are going to run for. Im sick of hearing about the economic situation as im sure many of you are but it has led to kennels being full, animals being ditched and neglected.i think its devastatingly sad. Just seeing what others think of the ads on TV??

Agrees and im also from an Irish background. The Irish in sheffield are a minority, more of a minority than other ethnic groups and yet SOME people (say no names)seem to slag off the Irish with little or no reserve. (Im not talking about traveller Irish either)Adds......Before anyone suggests im against the English, I am not and for the sake of argument, as well as being proud of my non commercialised Irish heritage,i.e St Patricks day... I was born and bred in Sheffield.
