Does anyone know a company/business that has the initials SSG on their white vans. One such badly damaged our car this morning, stopped for a second & then drove off. A neighbour saw it happen but couldn't get a reg number. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there, I organise Totley Farmers' Market & have been trying, for ages, to find a Fish Stall, smoked/fresh. The only one I can find is from Louth & as I try to keep things as local as possible I am loathe to contact them. Any ideas? Thank you.

Try Mitchells at the top of Chesterfield Road near the roundabout, he usually has a good selection of Gin, Whisky, Vodka, Wine etc. I also think that if you need something special he'll get it in for you. Give him a call, not sure of the number but it will be in the Book.

After my time. I was there when they started the Houses & was Bessemer Vice Captain. My 2 HeadMistresses were Mrs Briggs & Mrs Fitton. Spent my time there mostly at Marlcliffe Road & then at the Annexe next to Wadsley Church. Have very fond memories.

There's a Market on Totley Rise next Sunday 22nd July 12-4. Not as big as Nether Edge, but a good selection of stalls, Morris Men, Buskers etc.

Sorry everyone, what I actually meant was, the house Mr Morris lived in was on Manchester Road opposite the bottom of Coldwell Lane. I think in '63/'64 he was the J4 teacher at Lydgate. As I said I just went to him to be 'crammed' in Maths for the 11+. Lol.
