Hi Minxymoo1, My health visitor advised me that my milk production would go down if I exercised. My finding is that if I exercised and breastfed, my baby would still get what it needs in terms of milk production - when babies are hungry and want more they have a tendency to let you know. I would just feel completely knackered the next day... I would have achy muscles and feel low in energy and an urge to stay in bed all day. The best way to counteract this is to simply eat more to keep your energy levels up. I found that I was so time poor and focussed on my kids so much that I would forget to eat more. I gave up exercising for a while. Anyway my son is one now, so am weaning him off the breast milk, onto cows milk and getting my body back... it feels great!

I decided to send both my children to Appletree and they are both happy and doing well. The staff are great and extremely accommodating. I never looked at Foxhill in the end, because I had no quibbles about the level of service from Appletree. All staff are great and I am jealous that all kids get a visit from Mooney the Music Man on a Tuesday for 12 weeks. He is supercool! My daughter raves about him frequently!

Thanks for all the advice... Spoke to nursery who recommend that I stick to lower case letter first of all and just to teach the phonics... Very interesting...

this is what I'm thinking. I don't want to buy something which is so useless that I end up charging my batteries with mains.

Anyone used any solar powered battery chargers? I have bought loads of Duracell AA and AAA rechargeable batteries and they work a treat. I'm now thinking of purchasing a solar powered recharger unit. Can anyone recommend a particular brand and give some comments on how effective they are? Am doing a bit of research online at the mo. Cheers

"What are your weaknesses?" interview question.
SPLcoach replied to HotPhil's topic in Sheffield Business & Employment
A clever answer is that your strength is your weakness... strength - very passionate about what you do. weakness - very passionate about what you do. Sounds weird but most people's strengths are actually their weaknesses. I do this at my interviews. And your can't fail with it. Cheers -
Hi there, Here are details of the next NCT family walk... PM me if interested in coming along. Family walk around Langsett Reservoir Sunday 18th December, meet at 11am A level, buggy friendly, walk around Langsett reservoir, starting and finishing in car park. The circuit is 4km approx 2-3 miles. Meet at the car park. http://www.yorkshire-escapes.com/yorkshire/walks/212-langsett-reservoir We can't promise fine weather, but we can promise wintry atmosphere (hopefully crisp day with light dusting of snow!) and enthusiastic parent company. If you're planning to do the whole circult, don't forget to bring a packed lunch, warm clothing and waterproofs. The path is designed for easy access and so is suitable for casual walkers and pushchairs. If the weather is bad then give us a ring to check the walk is still on, otherwise see you there.
