  1. My husband got an appointment at porter brook dental surgery on the same day. They have something on their website about a private emergency service. You have to pay but you have said you dont mind that.
  2. Carlton road toddler group is running on mondays durning the holidays at 9.30, its in the congregational church hall on carlton road off middlewood road.
  3. Advances in trauma care are often made in warzones, then transfered back when they are proven. Antibiotics being an example.
  4. We don't usually have many as our cat eats them. However this year there is either more spiders or she has been a bit lazy as there has been a few. We just show them the cat and she eats them in the end.
  5. I used to go to this one http://www.velvetburlesque.co.uk/id12.htm in burncross community centre, it was very friendly and was a mixture of step, circuits, yoga and aerobics. I only dtopped going cause I was pregnant
  6. If your allowed to take the normal contaceptive pill that will stop your periods, you could go the family planning clinic to get it.
  7. I commute from north sheffield and its fine, about 40 mins on way and 45 on way back (that crawl past tankersley manor is a bit soul destroying every night though) you do need an effichent car (mine is usually around 53mpg). Wakefield itself is ok although seems to only have very posh people or scrubby people and no one in between. Another point to bear in mind, if there is a problem (snow or a crash on m1) then the journey can be 2 hours plus.
  8. We got our parcel that should of been here on Monday today.
  9. Hi, My mother in law runs the following organisation http://www.norcap.org.uk/ Its a post adoption charity, they should be able to offer you some advice
  10. I commute to Wakefield and always try to buy fuel there as diesel is up to 4p a litre cheaper:suspect:
  11. I used to get night buses in wolverhampton when I lived at home as a teenager (late 90's). Everyone was drunk but many people fell asleeep as it was 12 miles and took an hour. There was a bouncer on the bus in addition to the driver. They were great, lets get them here:)
  12. Hi, I travel from s6 to wakefield everyday. Its normally not a bad journey and takes me about 35-40 mins in the morning and around 45 in the evening (mainly due to traffic past tankersley manor). The M1 is generally OK between J36 and J41 although 39-41 can be slow at times it always moves.
