Hi starting my family tree for my Nannan and she said her little sister passed away of grate fever? There's no one else left to ask on who might know the medical term of this. I think it's a Sheffield term. I've found her sisters burial record but not death. Anyone have any ideas of what grate fever might be?

Hi i live on montgomery road in nether edge. iv noticed signs up stating a road closure on 5/12/15 - 11/12/15 can i ask if any on knows is this for when hey plan to kill all the beautiful trees of if there upto something else? i cant find anything anywhere! how many trees are they planning on taking down? i love this road and all the trees all year round i dont want them to go. if they are upto something else does anyone have any ideas on what for a road to be shut a week? also any ideas on where the number 3 bus will run? cheers in advance

yeh thats what i thought the roads around it seem to be all family's and pretty quiet. yeh its pretty good with the burgular alarm and good windows. im in a bottom floor flat in sharrow atm too. well theres loads of robbings over xmas three houses over road from where we are now got broke into on Sunday whole window frames taken out to get in the properties which is an awful thing to have to deal with.so its not just ground floor flats atm there going for big houses around this area,. I just wanted peoples opinions on the area i think it seems nice and quiet and close to town thank-you jodie

hi iv been offered a flat on erskine crecent from council after 9 years of waiting theyll look pretty nice and quiet road and area weve been and night and day to check them out. does any live on or near erskine to give me more details is it quiet? safe & secure? friendly nabours? and what not low on crimes and such i want to get a good insight as il be there for a long while if i take it cuase i wont be going private agian cheers. also im moving from the sharrow lane area so if people could us that as a comparison to the quiet i want cheers jodie

our friends last had the stockroom it got taken back by brewery. best bets are to ring the to let number or call council and see if they have contact for it

Hi im bar staff at the howard weve been looking into the history and wanting to get some old pics of the pub to display inside. We have found sheffield archive images of he outside of the pub but we were wondering if anyone has any pictures of inside he pub on nights out frkm any time but would be good to see the many layouts we know the pub interiorhas had over the years.
