  1. hi just been made redundant after 33 yrs so im looking for a job my trade is handgrinder and linisher sometimes called glazer.any job considered ive worked on various machinery ie drills millers etc any leads would be appreaciated
  2. hi sharpend i was made redundant on the 30 - 4 - 09 after 33yrs signed on on the 1-5-09 totally lost but i must say they have tried to help such has a cv course to learn how to make one out.but total nightmare claiming jobseekers and council tax rebate they want to know everything about you the company i worked for did almost nothing except look after them selfs ive applied to go on a computer course there is a fund to help you get courses. has for the job centre getting involve they arrived wedsnesday afternoon gave us some leaflets and incorrect info some questions they couldnt answer we were out of work thursday morning
  3. Just like to say they are boney and earthy but the big point is when you take a big pike your taking breeding stock from the water if you must take a small jack pike theres allways more jacks than large females

Hi sandie try horseshoe ponds at wales near kiveton its situated down the side of the lord conyers pub then second right forge lane excellent fishing either silver fish pond or carp pond bite a chuck you will catch all day long just on carp pellets ps he closed on mondays to give the fish a rest ps you can get a great breakfast aswell its £5 per day tight lines
  5. hi can anyone help me im trying to find where i can buy them loose ie by the pound or kilo there must be a shop in sheffield but i cant find it.i want to use them for soups etc to buy them in tins etc they work out expensive so any info were to buy them would be appreciated many thanks

  7. does anyone know james arthur yates of alfred rd he lived opposite the rag and bone yard with his stepfather charlie wright and stepsister annie he died when i was young so any info would be appreciated i know he was a boxer also he had a fruit barrow.also my grandfather kept goats in the back yard does anything jog any memories

  10. Hi have you tried the sheffield canal for spinning it quite good but you cannot spin in the canal basins where the boats are at tinsley marina tight lines
  11. HI TRY HORSESHOE PONDS AT WALES NEAR KIVETON IT IS LOCATED ON FORGE LANE SOME LOVELY CARP BUT BEWARE DONT FISH LIGHT WE USE 8lb LINE AND STILL GET RAGGED BY THE CARP
