  1. I had this problem when living in West One in town. The drivers didn't even come up to the door and ring the buzzer as there was an annoying ramp leading up to it and alot of the time they got the wrong block or street. The only driver that used to ring the buzzer and come in / wait near the lift used to get a tip every time. He even came up to the 7th floor once, that was a nice surprise.
  2. I often wonder this. Seems like it would be rather difficult to get right but they do have a wide open kitchen just like Smoke so surely people would spot them cheating. I went yesterday had the Pitmaster sandwich and swine fries on the side. The sandwich had so much meat piled on that I had to remove half of it and eat separately which was a nice problem to have. One thing I noticed is the menu states food comes out luke warm as that's how it leaves the pit but mine was just straight cold in places and it's been similar at smoke on both my visits there too. Maybe there's some truth to it or they just don't want to aggressively reheat things and dry them out... Regardless I'd recommend a visit for any meat/beer lovers and I'll be going again for sure
  3. Gentleman Fox in Hillsborough Savills on Division Street Freestylers on Ecclesall Road All highly regarded. You're looking at £15-£22 depending which you choose
  4. Tank is the main place that springs to mind. Clubbing in Sheffield isn't quite what it used to be but I'm sure there are other places too. The old wicker arches club might have reopened as something new so might be worth googling that too
  5. Wow non standard characters in a password, they must be right on the bleeding edge of technology... Any hosting company is probably your best bet. The one you registered your domain with would be a good start. That said does doing it with Gmail cost much more than whatever hosting co's charge these days?
  6. There was a crash at the bottom of London Road right on the junction for cemetery road / Aldi etc and traffic was at an absolute stand still around mid day so this possibly had an impact on some
  7. You sound like a barrel of laughs. Who goes out for food at Macdonalds or Pizza Hut and moans about noise or their surroundings? You could have at least asked the Pizza Hut staff to turn the music down if it was so much of a problem. Id suggest a takeaway pizza at home in future but then you'll probably complain that they knock too loudly on the door when delivering
  8. I went in here a few weeks ago the weekend when it was really hot. The grounds/building and decor are great but the drinks were very expensive, exactly £9.15 for a pint of lager and a bottle of cider. Not the kind of prices regular drinkers will be wanting to pay anyway. The GF suggested we ate there but after seeing prices and the food others had brought out we decided to go elsewhere (although some of the menu choices were quite tempting).
  9. You've got to be kidding? Because you are on benefits you should get a discount? Or because Sky is expensive Cineworld should charge you less? How about cancel Sky and put the money saved towards cinema tickets? Or do you consider Sky and cinema tickets to be a human right?
  10. I don't have ribs at either to be fair so Damon's could well be better for them. Not been a fan of Damons in general for quite a while though now
  11. TGI Fridays is way better although similarly priced
  12. Probably because they are both imported products. If you buy crisps / chocolate produced domestically they are way way cheaper. I saw Dairy Milk for €3+ per bar earlier in a Spanish supermarket yet other similar bars were €1. I've been drinking beer that costs 0.65€ per litre this week in Spain. I imagine similar bottles would be £2-£3 when back in the UK so I'm well aware we pay a fortune on beer. As has been mentioned though if not on beer it will only be applied elsewhere. At least it's not on essential every day food items so you don't have to pay it.
  13. I get full speed over torrents constantly. Usenet is ok but I haven't used it for about 5 years as I don't have any need at the moment...!
