Reading all these posts has brought a tear to m eyes.. Great days on the cliffe.. I lived on Woodburn Rd my dad 's name was Charlie(scouser) to some. I attended Woodburn Rd school and also took full use of the reck!! my goodness that swinging rope that was attachd to a platform , I can remember how ace i was on that. never a dull moment living around those parts and such a close nit community was we all. I remember Mr Anthony's, Rosies and bridge inn Chippy.. Does anyone remember those 1/2p mint ice lollies that we use o buy on our way to school??? Magical moments and memories that will last a lifetime.. Does anyone remember the soap factory when it had a fire and we would all go up and get free damaged soap...lol omg I could go on and on and on .. My ame was Ellen Flatley back then..remember me then get intouch .

Hi I use to live on Woodburn Rd in the 70's. Went to Hammerton school then Woodburn Rd.Do you all remember Mrs Tracey?? Everybody forgot to remember the Reck... Been living out of boxes since 28th Sept. Was told we would be moving on 28th Oct, they then delayed it until 9th Dec. Still in our house waiting for a date. Now heard Debbie is off on the sick cos she,s been moved to Notts and doesn,t want to go...... What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sanctuary has a lot of explaining to do................... down in the dumps S5 resident..
