Hi My daughter is looking for work experience in photography, for 2 weeks in june, she is 15 and in year 10, she has phoned loads of studios and been turned down.does anyone know a place that takes part in this, she's interested in media or magazine photography work. thank you

My daughter is in this school, and is doing relly well.Newfield has had bad press in the past due to headteachers and teachers who saw no future in the school, this has passed now i think, with a new head teacher who has a vision and passion about the school and which should rub off onto the teachers. the new building is fantastic and well equipped.I think it's unfair to give the school a bad name because some bus windows are smashed and other incidents, it's what happens in the classrooms that matter, those children who do things like that will be working in macdonalds ,if your child wants to learn well newfield has it for them.The school buses are another issue, that needs to be looked into, i have heard allsorts of stories, for example kids smoking on the buses and drivers selling cigarettes (alledgedlley).my daughter doesn't get the school bus anymore,she goes out of her way to catch another bus.that say's alot.

hi. it sounds like wind,but you said you've tried infacol.try a little juice insted of milk, she might be thirsty instead of hungry.do her gums look red and hard?maybe its the teeth. i've had 3 children,ive been through it.sit her on your knee rubbing her back in circles or her tummy.but if you are really worried go see the health visitor,she's there to help you.try and keep your cool though,babies can sense if your upset too.i hope this helps abit.good luck x:)

Hi My daughter is looking at the moment for a placement, why don't you ring the school he/she goes too and speak to the tutors involved with it, and usually it last's for 2 weeks, my daughter has asked over 10 places and all said no, i don't think school realize how hard it is to find a placement.so make the childs day, i bet he/she will be pleased if you say yes.
