  1. And according to this mornings BBC programme RIP OFF BRITAIN, if you are unemployed it can add over 70% to your premium.
  2. It doesent make sense because its not Veolia thats cutting these jobs, its the new subcontractor that doesent want the staff.
  3. One of the best replies to this thread so far, yes operations do get cancelled could be many reasons for this. I would asume that after each operation a sterile cleaning system takes place before the next op can begin, like as been said before if a operation takes longer than planned it as a knock on effect. I myself was recently at the Northern General at 7am for a operation at the day surgery unit, I was told it would be an hour to do the operation but in fact I went to theatre at 8.30 and it was 11.00am when I came out, obviously this would have caused a backlog in their daily operating list. I was also informed that someone could come and sit with me while I waited to go to theatre.
  4. Butchers shop on Church Street @ Jump, Barnsley.(next to the chip shop). He bakes them in the rear premises of the shop. Allways a queue of people waiting for them to come out of the oven, nothing better than biting into them and the hot runny jelly dribbling down your chin. bootifull
  5. Specific breds are covered by the free neutering scheme. Substidised neutering is available with The Dogs Trust for anyone claiming benefits. I have heard of people taking in a rescue dog being given a voucher, but don't know if it covers the full cost or just part of the cost of neutering. With reference to post 2, everyone with a dog do not qualify for these schemes.
  6. Might be illegal, i used to have a lightbar in the rear window of my car, in the centre of it was a high intensity red brake light and to each side of it was an amber chasing effect light that worked in tandem with the left and right indicators. Had it on for a while and then one day was chased by a police car and stopped and told to remove it there and then as it was illegal to have it fitted due to the chasing effect of the light. No arguing i had to remove it before he would let me go away on my journey.
  7. So the FACT is that your reply in post No7 was indeed not FACT but FICTION is that a FACT.
  8. 12 month warranty is only the manufacturers warranty, if you have got the original receipt from when you bought it take it back to the shop, as the shop can be held responsable for repairs upto 6 years after you purchased the item (sale of goods act). Just been through this processs relating to a computer bought 18 month ago. Give Consumer Direct a ring and they will verfy this and give you all the details.
  9. Exactly, trying to make a point that Scotland is part of the UK, but the 6 hour law does not apply there.
  10. If you read post 5 the one I was replying to about shopping hours in the UK you might see as to what I was saying in my reply. I.E. not all shops in the uk are covered by the 6 hour shopping law in the u.k.
  11. Wrong ! Scotland being part of the UK have different Sunday trading hours to England & Wales. In Edinburgh some of the Asda stores are open the full 24 hours a day 7 days a week, I believe that the only day they close is Christmas Day they are open on Easter Sunday unlike Asda in England. Below are shopping hours for 2 Asda stores in Edinburgh. Edinburgh Superstore 100 The Jewel Brunstane EH15 3AR Tel: 0131 669 9151 Opening times... Monday 24 hours Tuesday 24 hours Wednesday 24 hours Thursday 24 hours Friday 24 hours Saturday 24 hours Sunday 24 hour ---------------------------------------------------------- Leith Superstore 2 Sandpiper Drive Edinburgh EH6 6QL Tel: 0131 561 2300 Opening times... 12. Reading a lot of the replies to this and other posts of yours I feel that many of the forum members would like you to go on a tour of the Bermuda Triangle and disappear.

  15. Is it a 'He' or a 'She'? Have you noted the use of the Royal 'We'? (Or should that be the Royal Wee?) Perhaps Deville is Phil the Greek extracting the urine. Perhaps Deville is not a troll and instead is a 9 year old pretending to be an adult.
  16. Why have replies to this thread been deleted ?.
  17. Just been told there are armed police in Aughton near to the Black Bull, anybody know whats happened.

Modern or old braking systems can get air into them. Yes thats the way to bleed air out of the braking system, the air bleeds out with the fluid through the bleed screws. And as for not knowing what I am talking about let me tell you that I have been repairing cars for the past 47 years, cars and hgv's.
