they used to have cameras in the square to keep an eye on the low life but the do gooders moan about human rights and big brother watching, now look what happens . I thought we had a police force to deal with these problems if the conplaints keep coming in surely they must do something about it, perhaps seeing the local councillor may be a help.

Saturday my wife and i made a quick visit to lidl Beaumont road came out to find my car damaged by a gang of youths who were blasting a football about in the car park showing no respect for nothing or no one only moved on when the security guard was alerted bless em !!its a shame they didnt walk under a bus sorry a bit harsh , so just beware if you plan to use the supermarket.

my sons buyer pulled out of the sale at 10 am on the removal day after everything was packed ,addresses changed removal van booked not only my son but the couple whos house he was buying had everything in place too.The contracts had been signed but not exchanged ,despite attempts by the solicitor and estate agent he pulled out leaving my son his partner and baby out of pocket by some 2 thousand pound ,the man who pulled out is a retired doctor who was buying the house to be let out he has walked away scot free can this be right? I wondered if this has happend to anybody else and if there is anything that can be done to get some money back !

any memories of workers at tinsley park billet finishing round about 1974 to 1982

i remember the tackle that caused that injury ,he had picked on one of our mates and when he got the ball got tackled from both sides i think it was alan martin we got done but it was worth it ,actually he was a top bloke and became good mates . Does anyone remember Mr Burgin he was a sports teacher he came with us from woodthorpe another good bloke no airs and graces.
