  1. I agree with Peaches, we had 2 boars for 4 years with nothing more than the odd squeaking squabble. GPs need a hutch/run big enough to get away from one another when they want some alone time but other than that they should be fine together. Sounds like a chat with the expert is needed. Over to Peaches
  2. Hi, I have sent you a PM for the lady that does all my soft furnishings.
  3. I have love2shop vouchers every year and they have always come in £5 and £10 denominations (this year included) so I suspect yours should been the same as the love2shop website doesnt sell them in a larger denomination.
  4. so nice to have some happy news, congratulations to them both
  5. I can recommend Duncan of Greystones Joinery 07828606114. He has always fitted us in quickly, turned up when promised (this point can not be underestimated!), works fast and tidies up and doesn't charge the earth.
  6. Hi, If its a fitter you want, as opposed to a retailer, I can recommend Duncan of Greystones Joinery 07828606114. He has always fitted us in quickly, turned up when promised (this point can not be underestimated!), works fast and tidies up and doesn't charge the earth.
  7. Some postgraduate courses at SHU are currently taught at weekends and many are taught between 5 and 9 in the evening to benefit students who work while they study. I am unsure if this is the same with undergraduates as I work with PG students. As for the orginal topic of job cuts, it does seem likely as people are applying for a reduced number of posts (either upwards or sideways) but a lot of the detail of how the faculties will look doesn't seem to have been agreed upon yet. It certainly feels like my job is a risk and no one can offer any comfort (and haven't been able to) for some time to come. This is my understanding as an employee so my apologies if others on here are more closely linked to the process than I am.
  8. I would recommend Duncan of Greystones Joinery 07828606114. We bought a shell of a house last year and he has done lots of jobs for us, he has always fitted us in quickly, turned up when promised (this point can not be underestimated!), works fast and tidies up and doesn't charge the earth.
  9. how one 'animal' can do this to another is beyond me - what a sick, twisted thing she is!
  10. Morrisons normally have these - I have bought them from both halfway and Hillsborough stores in the past.
  11. Team Cola to win!! And lets have Karen Hardy as a judge next year.
  12. We bought a 1930s house earlier this year and had a complete rewire done. The firm were excellent in dealing both with the orginal electrics and the previous owners 'handywork'. It was a huge job (its a big house as it has been extended) but they managed to get it done in 3 very long (12 hr +) days as it part of a renovation project. I can't praise them enough, I dont know how they compare on price but an service and attitude towards the work they were first rate! 13. Whilst I don't like the idea of children grown up/old before their time, getting their makeup, hair and nails done as a treat wont do any harm. Society has moved on - for better or worse - and the kind of parties I went to at 10 (I'm in my 30ies) just doesnt do for the tweenagers of today.
  14. I agree, also if they didn't treat passengers like cattle they would be able to walk through the train and check people's tickets.
