No it's not. I am ginger and very proud to be ginger. I have been called ginger this, and ginger that since I started school. I am not easily offended and mainly brush it off though. I am gobsmacked when I see people get arrested simply for calling someone a black **** when I have been called a ginger **** a thousand times. I couldn't choose my colouring any more than anyone else can. Seems to be we are becoming the last group of people it is fair to have a pop at. That stupid politician who thought it was fine to use the term "ginger rodent" made my blood boil. He's probably a really nice chap to have a beer with or live next door to. I just feel sorry for him parading himself about, he seems just like a schoolboy in a suit. It's a tragic act in a tragic world. The only time it should be a way out is for people of failing or dreadful quality of life. The saddest thing is when people kill themselves due to depression and the like. It's a tragedy when someone could easily have swung back round to enjoy many more years, but took away their own opportunity for doing so........ I can't imagine the utter despair that must be going through the minds of people who are attempting it though. So, so sad.

Thanks guys.... The players has an option for upgrade via USB but simply nowhere to download the upgrades from. The unit also has online connectivity but does not have an option to update online....weird. The unit was less than £50 quite a while ago, so not crying over it, but I appreciate your responses.

I use a Blu-Ray player from a little known company called "Maxtek". This player is one of those cases of a cheap, no frills products that actually has more ease of use and functionality than my parents top brand model. Problem is, there is no website or support from the manufacturer. I've searched the model number and can't see it's one that's sold under many names....like the old Alba and Bush days. I had a problem playing a movie from LoveFilm, and they asked me to make sure I had updated the software, but I cannot find anywhere to even check if there is any update. It was one disc, and is more than likely an isolated fault. My question is, will the time come that the Blu-Rays being released will need a more up to date software in the unit to even play the film??? I don't mind missing special features as never watch them anyway?

Seriously, it should be fine. But have a quick taste before downing the whole can. Remember the label on beer says "best before", not use by. This normally means that there won't be anything evil growing in it in the months after the date, but might not taste as good as the manufacturer wants you to experience.

A few examples come to mind instantly: Arab Spring: It's great all these states are uprising and overthrowing their goverments isn't it. That's democracracy for you isn't it! Lovely! The new governments are going to be just great. Forward looking politicians with the freedom of the public in mind. In fact, let's give them a hand!! Immigration: It's going to be fantastic having all these cultures and races all in the same country isn't it! Millennia of friction and division between peoples across the globe is going to be turned into peace and harmony in just a few short decades in this country. Isn't it?? Afghanistan: We can really make a difference to that country and wipe out terrorism and the threats to our own country. We won't just spread them about a bit and radicalise even more people over here? Surely not!!! We can get the job done and will be able to leave in a few years with a legacy of a brand new country! The Eurozone(in the 90s): These countries and all work together equally in a problem free economic zone. It doesn't matter that there is a big disparity of wealth between the big powerhouses of France and Germany, the advanced countries like Finland and the Netherlands, and the southern Europeans. There won't be any problems!! There are plenty of examples of the above. It seems obvious to me there are problems with the above. In the late 90s when I was studying Europe at college I was perplexed how you could put Germany and Greece in the Eurozone. One was going to struggle wasn't it, and it wasn't Germany. I ain't too clever either and am sure a lot of people thought this. But did the big powers care? No. I think a lot of people literally do blank out the bad things, like the article suggests. What I find concerning as that this happens at the very top of the people who make the decisions for the countries around the world. Anyone else agree, or do you think that optimism is the right way forward?

All the ones I have seen have got a window that opens at the back and the cop with the device does his stuff through the window........ Unless they using new devices, the speed is measure by bouncing a beam off the passing cars number plate, so it couldn't work through glass....... Chill, in just over a couple of weeks you can be sure, but unless he is on 9 points now anyway he won't be in danger of losing his job. Just will need to be more careful for the next three years.
