Hi Folks, Has anyone recently found a place for well rotten manure? I've seen a recent thread but it seemed that this may not yet be ready. Any help would be appreciated tom

Hi folks, Anyone with suggestions. I'm going to give potato growing in tyres a go this year and wondered what type of soils, compost mix I need? I've a lack of spare soil and filling with bought compost seems to be a bit of a false economy (although no doubt i'll get better tasting spuds home grown!) Does anyone have an ideas. There's posts for topsoil on this forum, is it worth getting some top soil and mix in bought compost. I'm new to all this and am looking forward to trying some new things this year. Anyone's thoughts would be really appreciated cheers tom:help:
