  1. Hi All I am just about to move to a house on Valley rd with my two lovely cats but am feeling worried by some of what I have been reading on here. I was initially worried about the road - fast drivers, etc and was going to ask what people thought about the traffic as I think its a bit busier than where I currently live. Are people aware of many road accidents involving pets or children on Valley Rd or the surrounding area? And after reading some other posts I am now also worried about cats going missing and beheadings Mine are very sociable and used to wandering thru other peoples gardens and greeting people on the pavements..... Is it all doom and gloom and should I rethink this move or are there some happy, safe outdoor cats around there? thanks
  2. Yes - I agree - they are brilliant people and have good opening hours. They go that extra bit to be helpful.
  3. There is a homeopathic vets in Wetherby (Sue Armstrong at Balanced Being) It is expensive and a ways to travel but it sounds like quite a quirky mix of symptoms and homeopaths are good at putting all that stuff together and making sense of it.
  4. I don't know if they are the absolute cheapest but I have always found Peak Vets to be very reasonable. They are very pleasant, compassionate, genuinely care about the animals and I have never felt ripped off there.
  5. Hi Sam I would be very happy to PM my contact details to you but don't know what PM means or how one does this (sorry forum newbie). If you could help me out with this then I will be very happy to arrange a time to come see your scary run down plot. And thanks Kevin for putting my details on list Michele
  6. I am up for anything really at this point - a project where I can spend some time outside and if i can find a place to plant some onions, spuds, etc all the better. Would love to meet up see what you have got. I think it helps a lot to have moral support and bodies to tackle it bit by bit when it gets daunting. Michele
  7. I am also looking for a plot to share or a bit of space to garden in. If you are making a list I would like to be on it. I will try and pop down this weekend - what time is the shop open on sunday? Michele
  8. Recently moved down from Glasgow where I had my own organic plot for 8 years and am really missing it. I work full time so can't manage a whole plot but would love a little patch or to share one with someone. So if you find you have some spare space or would like some company and someone to share the work please get in touch. I am in Hunters Bar area but can travel.
