Are these in addition to the ones that have been there for a couple of years now? the 30 MPH signs are tiny, and there seems no reason for that stretch of dual carridgeway to suddenly go from 40 to 30 just for a few hundred metres.

I would never buy any goods by randomly walking into high street store - I find the 'reserve and collect' option far better as it's the best of both worlds. You get a competitive internet price, but you can go down and check out the product before buying, plus returns are a lot less hassle. These days between comet, currys and pcworld you can usually get prices to match internet only places like Amazon and Komplett, although Dixons-online is usually the cheapest by a few quid. Jessops I find to be quite expensive, both in store and online - you don't mind paying a bit more in a specialist shop if the staff really know their stuff, but I've never found that to be the case with Jessops. Plus these days, who needs in-store advice when there's so many web sites with all the answers, full reviews, tech specs and comparisons etc?

For properties in the £300k region in S7, we've definitely seen a fall - lots of decent enough houses dropping the asking price by at least £25k and still struggling to sell - also plenty of 'solds' suddenly going back on the market. Want to move, but not so sure at the moment as the properties we really want are ~£600k which IMO is a ridiculous price to pay for a 4/5 bed detached in S7, and not willing to borrow £350k from the bank even though they seem more than happy to lend it to us! Hopefully prices will sort themselves out in time, average is currently something like 9 times salary?
