I bought this laptop in spain and its in spanish so I cannot do anything with it , does anyone know if it can be changed to english or can you give me a reference as to where things are , ie remove/add programmes and so on

johninit has done quite a bit of work at my house , always been reasonable fast and clean , but I ask him to look and tell ME what wants doing , then the solution , if I dont like it I always have the option of calling another electrician out and wasting some one elses time to get the same result , been greta for me and pals who have used him have said the same

yep operating system xp home motherboard is foxconn drivers updated for graphics have not run it in safe mode , it has been rebooted twice from recovery cd no there is no patern for the stop it does it when it wants can be mins can be hours

cpu is pentium 4 3.2 memory 512 on board sound 128 graphics card only external connection is to wanadoo no idea what os version is 120 gig h/drive

what details do you need

supplier says they will not touch it because its a software problem , really at a loss here ?

have done reinstall twice now and the problem continues the error report reads STOP ERROR CAUSED BY A DEVICE DRIVER microsoft have said thatthey do not know what is wrong with it and will investigate , but that was 6 weeks ago and 60 crashes later I am getting to the point where this goes in the bin . just in case ya wanted to know this comp was bought in july for nearly a grand , after 6weeks the m/board went down and was replaced by the supplier , but took em 4 weeks , its still under guarentee but ob not the software . hope this further info will give someone the clue they need to solve this problem . cheers

already checked those , both ok

my comp keeps restarting as and when it feels like it , there is no pattern to it or obvious cause the error report to microsoft says it is a driver error , I have had someone look at the drivers and they say nothing is wrong there , but it still says the same now , any ideas
