My female dumbo rat died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon. I am now concerned for the welfare of my remaining female rat, as she already seems lonely. I am contemplating getting another rat to keep her company but would prefer to get one of a similar age (she's just under 2years). I would appreciate any suggestions or advice about what to do and also details of any rescue centres etc that have rats for re-homing.
