I own both the new 360 slim and the 360 elite. For ease of use (especially if you intend to buy Kinect) I'd reccomend buying the new 'slim' model with 250gb hard drive. However i'm into modding the consoles so my elite model is my preference.

how handy are you with things like this...I had a go at repairing the analogue stick...and it was dead easy. However if you dont trust yourself...then the one at crystal peaks is reccomended.
