  1. Hand pull it unfortunately, however wait until you see the flower stalk form. The plant will then be less likely to recover. Alternatively a nice strong dose of glyphosate to the leaves.
  2. I've now taken the plunge and have a brand new Yeti coming next week. Like others have said there are good deals and bad deals, keep an eye out and you can pick up a belter!! HUKD's is a great place to look, http://www.hotukdeals.com/search?action=search&keywords=lease
  3. Ahh, I wasn't sure as I only have machines that I have upgraded from 8 with, which use a DPK.
  4. We sold with Haybrook Hillsborough and they were great, fixed price selling, loads of advertising and open houses. Our house sold pretty quick, nice and informed the entire time.
  5. Anyone who says they have never speeded and drive a vehicle capable of speeding are lying!!
  6. Well i'm off to try again today, so will report on how they are a couple of weeks after opening. I'm hopeful for a much improved experience and meat ---------- Post added 02-05-2016 at 10:01 ---------- No worse than eating fried fish and chips http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1459480 ---------- Post added 03-05-2016 at 10:42 ---------- Very big improvement over our first visit, the food was ace, as were the wait times and service.
  7. In my opinion consoles are better, games are written to specifically utilise the hardware, and everyone is on the same playing field. Yes, PC's can have superior graphics, but it's a pain to constantly upgrade, an XBONE/PS4 will cost a couple of hundred quid and last 5-7 years. Not to mention the plague of cheating on the PC platform, look at division for a recent example.
  8. For my plex/media server and client, I use a NUC6I5. (SSD, 8gb DDR4, couple of TB of external storage) Everything else is done via win 10/android tablets or via my work laptop (aging Ivy bridge I7). If your after a desktop definitely look at the NUC's, so small, pretty powerful and very energy efficient.
  9. The easiest thing to do would be to do a re-install of Windows. This is very easy with Windows 10. You will need to download the Windows 10 media creation tool, this will install all the files needed to do a re-install onto a memory stick. You can then boot from the stick and follow the onscreen instructions, if your key is digital (Win 8 onward), you wont need to provide one and it will activate. If you have a physical key (Win 7) you will be asked to enter this so make sure it's legible.
  10. I'm with Sky and have no issues with speed drops at peak, or download caps. I download over 500gb a month, sometimes more. There is no point having 'superfast' internet if you can't use it
  11. On the flip side I went to smoke when that opened and didn't have an issue. An established chain should be able to anticipate the 'teething' issues and train their staff in accordance!! A restaurant has a finite number of people who can come, not many variables to have to account for, just poor training/management!
  12. Assuming insurance and fuel consumption stayed the same, I would save in the region of £70/m
  13. I have a fuel log app, which also takes into account cost of finance, repairs, tax insurance etc. At present my current car (2010, 3008) is costing a quite astonishing 43p a mile to run, accumulating to a whopping £498.11p a month!! :o:o
  14. I've always bought my cars via finance, and at the end usually trade it in and buy another, so I never really benefit from not paying out for a car. I am now looking to lease instead, I will be paying less than finance, the car will always be under warranty and not need an MOT, and it will be brand spanking new. In my situation paying finance and trading it in when that's up is no difference to leasing, only i'll get a new car with manufacturers warranty. The only downside I can see is the risk of damage, scratches etc.
  15. We did, they knocked us £30 off the bill though (around 20%).
  16. I was close to leaving. The BBQ meat wasn't the best. The ribs were good, but the burnt ends were definitely not triple smoked, they were very tough and fatty so were not cooked low and slow. The burgers coming out looked good, but I'd recommend smoke over reds any day (I also visited smoke when it opened and the meat was great). Anyone tried longhorns yet? The only thing that puts me off is it's walk in only.
  17. I went last night, I was very unimpressed!! We were s table of 7 and to get the food to us all nearly took 3 hrs!! I wouldn't bother with the place until they have had practice!! The meat was OK, but for now stick to smoke.
  18. I just use Google, additional storage isn't too pricey - 100gb $1.99/m 1tb $9.99/m.
  19. I've managed to reserve for this Saturday, can't wait!! Also got Longhorns to try out too.
  20. You may need planning depending on the size and location of either. If you're considering a container, also consider your neighbors.
  21. Mine were planted about 6 weeks ago (would have to check my gardening diary), and they're now 2-4 inches tall and very healthy. I have an unheated G/H where they live in the day, at night they come in the house. They were germinated in a heated prop, but taken out as soon as their heads popped through. I also have sweetcorn, peppers, chilli's and melons that were done at the same time. I have just popped in all my pumpkin, squash and cuc's (with a few extra toms) over the weekend, which have now started to pop their heads through.
  22. Good start to the new season, if not a little predictable.
  23. In all honesty a reinstall would be easier, unless you really want to save the o/s. I would also suggest getting your free upgrade to win 10 while you can.
  24. If you want to access your DVR over the net and you are on a dynamic ip (you will be with Sky) you'll also need to setup a DDNS. I use no-ip, very easy to use. Unless the DVR has some sort of service that does this for you?
