  1. This is worrying- I live very near to Linaker Road and had my car broken into recently. A lot of damage was caused to the car but fortunately they were unable to steal it. Also had new anti-snap locks fitted to the house doors, must be getting a bit paranoid! It's always been so quiet around this area, occasional 'metal thief' but this makes me feel unsettled.
  2. I wasn't sure, as it was the first time I'd tried it. I do prefer it to the megazorb though and it seems to have lasted. I will probably try other stuff, please let me know if you have any ideas (especially cheaper ones).
  3. Hi, the aubiose has been ok, I got mine online from http://www.gjwtitmuss.co.uk it cost me £9.50 & £7.00 delivery for 20kg. I got it the beginning of January and still got a third left and I have 8 rabbits
  4. I'm just trying aubiose, I think it's like hemp and seems a bit better than megazorb:)
  5. Oh dear, we had two reliably informed 'girls' one of whom gave birth to 8 babies! Unfortunately before we realised she had given birth she became pregnant again straight away. Dad has now been neutered, definitely keeping the first lot of babies (6), the other 3 are still with mum. She will be neutered as soon as the second babies are weaned. It's been quite stressful, especially as I was told they were both girls. I do realise though it's quite difficult to sex baby rabbits. The babies will be neutered as soon as possible and separated into different hutches. I've always been a very responsible pet owner and had cats and dog neutered so found this accidental birthing quite upsetting.
  6. Hi, I diagnosed this myself, I've had it for nearly a year, the pain now lasts for most of the day . I've tried all sorts, insoles, taping and a night splint. I've finally gone to see my GP about it and had a steroid injection. I think it's improving, still need to wait and see though.
  7. Went to Patoo on New Years Day. Couldn't fault anything, service and food were excellent, will definitely go again
  8. This made me laugh as all 3 of my cats have been spotted far away by my husband! He takes our dog for a walk at 11pm, (we are just a bit up from Rivelin) and he has found one of them at bottom end of the Bole Hills. This is a good way up from us and what I thought would have been way too far for them to wander. I have been up with him the past couple of nights and all three have followed us up, felt like the pied piper! They've all been neutered as well so the wandering afar not down to that
  9. Yes there was a recent cat death due to anti-freeze poisoning. Unfortunately it was on Compton Street so it looks as though the person responsible has started at the other end of South Road now:( This was one of my mum's neighbours whose cat has died.
  10. Hi Annie, we've got three cats, two girls and a boy and a dog. The male cat sounds so similar to yours, he's wee'd in shopping bags, on my son's bed and other strange places! One of the cats (not sure which) also occasionally pooed on the bath mat. I've resorted to putting a litter tray in the bathroom now. I know it's a bind but is there anywhere you could put a litter tray out of the children's reach? I hope things improve, it must be a boy cat thing
  11. Hi, don't know if you still need any carpet, I've just taken my living room carpet up and cut it into decent size pieces. I'm in Walkley, just up from Rivelin, you're welcome to have it if you still need any.
  12. They used to sell it in the Dram Shop on Commonside when I worked there, going back a few years though. Once had a bottle never again, (sorry) good luck with finding some!
