hi for anyone looking for anythink bigger than the normal motorhome or caravan hire try us, we now hire out all american stuff and have just moved into a new place over at sandtoft and now sell 5th wheel caravans also, and we are cheap

Thank you I will tell him about stepping stones and see if it will help. He is partly sighted and that his problem if he could see then maybe he could still drive and get out, but he will not seem to try new ways and stikes to the old ones.

Hi my dad lost mum after 68yrs on the 5th of dec just gone and now he to finds it hard to be on his own in the house and outside, he keeps saying he wants to find some one just for company to go out with,talk to of about the same age has its not the same. And no its not the same we all try to help him and one of us is always there every day and when he feels really down he pops in for tea. But family is not the same as having some one of the same age or some just to share a film with,or a radio program, or to have to get up for,or even a shave and bath for just the simple things they used to share. Has he no longer drives and the car they had was mums that went, so now he relies on use to get out has he as never used a bus or taxies he cann't see beound a car to get out. We all miss mum in our ways.

how far back are you going cause my in the mid 40's work in the mines and then as a lorry driver/fitter bring up a young family working long hours, every one then worked hard and long hours trying to make the bast of things. every one every where was in the same way after the war not just this country. We did not start going down hill till the late 70's and yes there was place's where we work the old ways even then. I have always known the head of families working long days even now my husband can do more then a 12 hour day is this not true with most hard workers.:roll really what chip are you carrying

You have a old car with a old style gear box, you will not get the same power from it has a manual ever, stop using the gearbox use it has it should I have never left footed has it seems to be wrong. I can use both types of gear boxes and the old auto ones are slow on take up, they are nothing like a modern auto box.

Cyclist thing (most of the time) that they are in the right and that other road users should get out of there way even motorcyclists and they are worse(but obey the rules of the high way most of the time), they think that way should make way for them they never do it for others. And the police will always take their side no matter what. We can all give bad driving examples on both sides.

THey would get paid a tuppence at one time because in that country and economy it may have been a lot of money then, but now it is not. I know some will now say what about those in Africa and country's like that but they are not as free as the rest of us because of there governments so in this case on this thread we should not be using them to base things on.

In the 50's,60's,70's we where the best then we started getting labour goverments in and they sold every think off and brought in a higher cost of living and more tax's for the poorer in this counrty. A few weeks ago some lady said on radio that she had turn down a £400 a week job because she would be £20 worse off my husband would like to earn £300 a week?

DID I SAY ANY OF THIS NO I SAID BRING BACK THE OLD SKILLS WE USED TO HAVE, yes scrap most of the health and safety because most of what they inforce just makes things harder to get on with not like before but this would mean getting rid of highly paid pen pushers (haas if we need then). And yes the cars at the time where crap compared to todays but they all where back in the 60's,70's The steel was the best in the world but was produced cheaper aboard but the steel was not as good. Iagree with you all the way:| the rich get richer no matter how the rest do, but why are they still getting extra for doing nothing and getting us deeper in the **** . And like you say they prefer us to argue about some one else so long as we don't blame them and see them taking the same as they always have.
