  1. A group of children from a Sheffield dance school have successfully auditioned to perform at Disneyland Paris in August next year. We are raising funds to enable them to travel there. We are looking for sponsorship for our tracksuits which will be worn for the Disney trip and for competitions throughout the year around Yorkshire. If there is anyone out there who may be able to help with this or maybe a donation towards this please contact 07751 383545 - many thanks
  2. Thank you for those I really appreciate it Sheffieldliz
  3. I have just noticed the sun holiday promotion has started, does anyone have the codes up to today please ?
  4. Whilst travelling abroad I bought two lamps carved from solid wood. They are wired but I would like to know where I could get the fittings replaced for Uk ones. They were made in a 3rd world country by an old man on a market so I'm not going to risk using these. I also need the bit that holds the bulb replacing but not sure what sort of shop does this? Anyone know?
  5. Thanks for that I didnt realise, She is very supple and can do walk overs back and foward etc. Our only problem is having a 45 min class and spending 15 mins doing the floor work once a week is not getting her very far.
  6. Hi is there anyone who can teach my daughter how to do a backflip and an areial cartwheel, for her dance rountine? I have taken her to gym class but they want her to do the bars and the beam but she is not bothered about these aspects. She picks up things quickly but just needs pointing in the right direction thanks.
  7. HI, I need some advice for my auntie and uncle on benefits. I have tried the advice centre and I was turned away as they were too busy. I have called the benefits help line and waited for over 45 mins only to be told that they can only speak to the people who it concerns ( my uncle is working every possible hour and my auntie is at rock bottom and wont be too far away from a breakdown if this carries on). Basically my uncle earns around £900 per month and pays out £695 in rent and council tax. They have electric and gas meters which eat money. My auntie has worked all her life and now become ill and wont be able to do her heavy job. She has been granted ESA but only the stamp part of it. ( I dont understand this or how it works). She has no income at all. Is this correct? Are they both expected to survive on £225 per month? I apologise for my lack of Knowledge but this is new to me. Thanks
  8. Thanks sexysaz1989 for your help. Can't wait to book Disney Land Paris for £129 for all four of us again it was fantastic last year.
  9. Does anyone have the code from Monday's paper as my husband took the newspaper to work and left it!
  10. Congratulations firstly. Try your local surestart centre, they run breast feeding support groups where mums can meet have a coffee and chat, plus get advice from the support workers who run the groups, they also come out to see you before and after giving birth as well as coming to the hospital if you need help. This is where I spent many weeks after having my girls and have made some fantastic friends. Also try looking on the le leche league uk website which has loads of info. Good luck.
  11. Can any one suggest what I can do with my nails! I'm at wedding at the weekend and would like my nails done, my problem is that I'm working on tuesday and would have to remove them as I can't have any form of polish or extensions for work. I don't wAnt to pay about £35 to have to remove them two days later as it's not good for my nails or my wallet any ideas .
  12. Are you sure its a mouse and not a bird thats got in? I had the same problem but it was a bird and it took about three weeks until it died. I thought it was a mouse but when the builder opened up the chimney about six months later the dead bird was still there.
  13. My 5 year old has been having dancing lessons for a couple of years now and has started doing competitions. Every time she gets a report card back from the judges it says she needs to work on her stage presence and be aware of the stage, ( her actual dance steps score high). I am looking for a stage we could use for an hour or so once a week, that is inexpensive. I pay quite a bit out on lessons so don't want to add another cost on to the out goings. If anyone could offer me any other advice I would be very grateful. Many thanks
